46 How they meet

[12 Years ago, Kenryoku Main School]

"What is that? A wig? You look ugly!" A boy said making fun of Asagi's hair, "It looks like a mop!" Another boy beside him said while pointing down to little Asagi, as the three peoples burst out laughing. Asagi whimpers and begins to sobs, she clutches onto her pink hair. "Oh look, she's crying!" The girl said, grabbing her head by force and make her face up to them, "Hah! Her face is funny!" She said as the others laugh once again, Asagi struggles to grab the girl's hand who is holding her head, "Stop it…What did I ever do to you guys?" Asagi asks. tears slide down her eyes like a waterfall.

Little Akane who was watching the whole thing they do to Asagi from up the class, she was having detention for making fun of the teacher and doesn't complete the homework he gives to her. Akane glance at the teacher who is lecturing her while closing his eyes, Akane then looks down again at the group of bullies. She really wants to kick those asses, but she doesn't want a double lecture from both her teacher and sister when she got home.

Until the bullies kick Asagi's body, Akane has made a decision. The teacher was writing on the blackboard, until he hears a crash behind him, "Miss Murasame-" He stops talking when he sees his class window is broken, he quickly rushes to the window is, and sees Akane down the floor. "Miss Murasame!" He shouts, but Akane didn't care, she is ready to kick some asses.

The bullies turn their head at where the crash was heard, and sees Akane with a piece of shattered glass in her left hand. "Who are you?" The boy asks, "The one who will kick your ass!" Akane yelled a big grin on her face, as she digs the shattered glass to her skin, blood trickled down her forearm. "Are you insane? You just slice your forearm!" The girl asks can't believe what she done.

"Hehehe…it just the beginning! You better see clearly with what I can do to my blood!" Akane said grinning cockily, as her blood wraps around the three bullies legs, throwing them across the main hall knocking them out as soon as they hit the wall. Akane smirks in victory, as her blood becomes fluid and comes back to her sliced skin. Akane looks at Asagi who was in surprises of what she did, Asagi noticed her stares and flinch. Akane chuckled and walk to her.

She kneels down in front of Asagi, and clears her throat, Asagi stares at her, confused on why she clears her throat. "Was that epic enough? For a hero that come to save you?!" Akane asks getting closer to her face, as Asagi was surprised by her sudden acts, "Umm…What?" She asks tilting her head. "Psh. Don't ya see how I went through the window? Smashing into them feels like Wham!" Akane said to her, stars in her eyes as she proudly babbling about how cool she was.

Akane was about to open her mouth to babbles more, her teacher shouts at her, "Miss Murasame! What have you done?! What did you do to them?!" He shouts pointing to the unconsiousness bullies. "They bullied her first. I'm just defending her." Akane said standing from her place and stares at him.

"Your behavior is unacceptable! I will need you to follow me." He said grabbing her right hand, "I refuse. At least let me take her to the infirmary." Akane said glaring up at him, "There's no need for that! She can do that herself!" He said stopping her from running away. "She can go by herself? She can't even stand you, damned old man!" Akane yelled slapping his hand, and run straight to Asagi's side.

"Why you!..." He grumbles, "Stop it. Let her be." The headmaster said stopping him, "A-Ah, yes sir…" He said obeying him. The headmaster has gray hair, a weary look on his face, he wears a brown coat, and black pants. His name is, Edward Haisley.

"Heave-ho!" Akane said while wrapping Asagi's right hand around her neck, helping her to walk. "Thank you…" Asagi said a little worried about the fight she and her teacher have. "What's wrong with that look, you should say thank you with a grateful face! Not sad!" Akane said giving her a toothy smile, "Then…Thank you very much!" Asagi smiles, "That's better!" Akane laughs.

The two walks in the hallway, as Asagi realized she doesn't know her name yet, "Umm…What is your name?" Asagi asks gaining her attention. "Akane Murasame! What's yours?" Akane asks looking at her face, "A-Asagi Wakamaru! N-Nice to meet you!" Asagi said bowing her head a bit, "What's with the stutter? Do I look like I will bite?" Akane asks, as Asagi quickly denies it, "N-No! It's not like that! I just…haven't talk much to people…They will always make fun of my hair…" Asagi said sadly, "Is that so? Then! We can be friends! Also! Your hair is beautiful!" Akane grins offering her to be friends along with complimenting her.

"R-Really? I would love to!" Asagi smiles happily, "Mhm! Starting from tomorrow…I'm gonna make sure of your safety and play with you! There's no more lonely for you!" Akane said excitedly for tomorrow. "Yeah!" Asagi nods.

Akane open. The infirmary room as the nurse greets her, "Welcome! What may you need?" The nurse asks smiling warmly at them, "I think she sprains her ankles…Can you heal her up?" Akane asks, Asagi touches her stomach, and winces, "and a bruise on her stomach." Akane added. "Mhm, understood. How about you? Your forearm is bleeding a bit." The nurse said. Looking at her forearm, "It's just a small thing, I can take care of it." Akane said while helping Asagi to sit on the bed.

"Here. You'll need this." The nurse said handing Akane a band-aid. "Thanks." Akane grins before putting it on her wound.

An hour passed, they were supposed to return home, instead, Akane dragged her to the hill in Kenryoku. And when the two have arrived, the two pants heavily, "…Can't you slow down a bit?..." Asagi asks sitting on the ground exhaustedly. "We're not gonna…make it if we…don't run…" Akane said in the middle of panting.

Akane looks in front of her, "Oh, it's starting." She said sitting down beside her, "What's starting?" Asagi asks, "Sunset!" Akane grins, as Asagi looks in front of her, in awe at the splendid, and stunning sunset. She never once thinks sunset will be this beautiful. "It's beautiful…"
