28 Her appearance

Ashley was sleeping peacefully, until she falls from the bed, she groans "Oww…I was having a really good dream." Ashley muttered rubbing her head. She look at the clock, "11:35…welp what a time to be hungry." Ashley said not wanting to go outside. But her stomach growls, signaling once again that she's hungry. "Tch fine." Ashley said annoyed, standing up dusting her jacket.

When she got outside the sleeper cart, and goes to cart 3. Everyone has somehow, fallen asleep at the same time. "Weird. Doesn't they have time to go to sleeper cart first?" Ashley ask herself. She continue to walks until she got to cart 2. Finding two person is awake. "Eh? Celine? What happened here?" Ashley ask Celine who is looking confused with a man beside her.

"Ashley! I don't know! Everyone suddenly falls asleep!" Celine said filling up a bit Ashley lacks of info. "Then. Why are we three awake? Also who is he?" Ashley ask looking suspiciously at Leon, "I'm Leon Hansford! I can tell you why the two of us are awake." Leon said giving her a toothy smiles. "Sure, sure, the names Ashley Escarcha." Ashley said wanting to him to get straight to the point.

"I had a passive, I called it resistance, it will resist to any spiritual magic. And whenever I talks to someone, that someone will have the same resistance as me. As for what happened here, I think the whole passengers here is in a deep slumber." Leon said explaining both his passive and the current situation.

"Then. We should kick those who casts the spell butts!" Ashley grins cracking her neck, "We need a plan to do this. Can I cooperate with you two for a while?" Leon ask, "Mhm! Of course!" Celine nod smiling, "If you put a good fight! I approve it." Ashley said wanting to see his power, "Sure! Then, I need you two to observe the carts. It's up to you where you want to observe. But I want a complete observe from the front till the back." Leon said sitting down to write the plan.

"Yeah, yeah. Let's go Celine!" Ashley said dragging her to the back carts. Ashley stop running when she got to the cart 3, "You observe here until the food cart. I will do cart 4 until caboose! Later!" Ashley said before running away to get her observation start. "Yosh, I really want to be helpful." Celine said encouraging herself.

"Nope! Nope! Doesn't need an observation! Everything seems fine!" Ashley said running straight to the caboose, didn't even bother to observe the carts like what Leon said. She doesn't even realize snoring Hector on the foods cart. Sometimes, her ears can be really this useless, she is always blinds with quick works.

When she want to open the caboose door. It feels heavy, "why does it feels heavier than usual?" she said before pulling the door with force, Theresa body falls to her, making Ashley surprised and falls to the ground. "Theresa?" she ask looking at the sleeping Theresa. "Oh god. She's asleep. I should transfer her to sleeper room." Ashley said carefully place Theresa beside her, she stand up and pick Theresa up. Her eyes catch a sight of a book.

"Is this Theresa's?" Ashley ask herself trying to pick up the book, since both of her hands is carrying Theresa. She use her foot to kick the book to the air. When the book flies up the air, about an inch farther than her height. She catch the book using Theresa as an basket. The book successfully lands on Theresa stomach.

"Great!" Ashley cheered, she turn around to and begin to run to sleeper room.

"Nothing here…" Celine mumble looking at every side in cart 3, "I think I'm done here. Time to move." She said and head to the sleeper cart. The sleeper cart contains 6 sleeper room, each room has 4 beds, both at the sides, and two more, above the beds. The room is tiny, enough for 2 beds and the ceilings is high enough for the upper beds.

Ashley was running until her legs bump into something, make her stumbles, "W-wha!" She quickly maintain her balance, fears of dropping Theresa filled her mind, fortunately, she successfully stands on both legs. "Safe!" Ashley sigh in relief, until Theresa's book hits her head. "Ow!" Ashley yelp in pain, the book then land on Theresa stomach once again.

"What did I bump to?" Ashley mumble turning around to see sleeping Zeolite on the floor. "Wow, how did I didn't see him before?" Ashley as herself, "well gotta run to sleeper cart then return here again!" Ashley said before proceeding to run again.

"Celine! How's your observations going?" Ashley grins approaching her, "Oh you got Theresa. It's goes smoothly." Celine smiles, Great! Where did the place you had observe? I want to place Theresa there." Ashley ask, "Room 2 can do. Just place her there." Celine said letting her to place Theresa. "Good! Thank you!" Ashley smiles widely, telling her how grateful she is. "no problem." Celine smiles and continue to observing room 5.

Ashley place Theresa on the bed, and stretch her hands, "time to get Zeolite." Ashley said before exiting the room to get Zeolite. And when she got there. Isla is standing there, worries plastered on her face. "Wait…Isla?!" Ashley yelled surprised, Isla flinch when Ashley yelled, she quickly backed up.

"Oi, oi, what's the meaning of this? I thoughts you die!" Ashley said completely surprised by the appearance of Isla. "Please stop shouting. Keep it down. And yeah. It's me." Isla said her face has mixed expression, happy to see her, but also sad to see her. "I was right! Zeolite would like to see you, after all these years. Why don't you go with us?" Ashley said giving her signature toothy smiles, extending her hands. "I'm sorry. I can't." Isla said shaking her head.

"Why?" Ashley ask frowning, "I can't say much. But I really hope you will protect Zeolite now. Or things will get really bad." Isla said apologizing, "my senior is calling me, I had to go." She smiles before leaving Ashley and sleeping Zeolite behind. "…" Ashley look at Zeolite and where Isla left repeatedly. "Alright. Leave it to me. Isla." She said a confident looks build on her face.
