The Fall

Jason was hanging there, looking around for any options. His grip was slowly slipping. Without any other ideas, Jason took out another horn from his inventory and jumped off the wall onto the other side of the pit.

Jason still didn't have the ability to climb a sheer 50 feet with a flimsy rabbit horn so he started to defend by jumping and stabbing into the side of the pit repeatedly.

It took 30 min to descend 50 feet with the rabbit horns safely. When he reached the bottom of the pit, he was able to figure out how he could see the end of the pit clearly. Multiple torches were laid around him.

Jason lightly fell to the side of the pit away from the metal spikes. Looking around he could see the torches leading into a darker pit. But Jason, of course, looted the dead rabbits, while he was doing that he had a sudden inspiration and took all of the metal spikes that were impaled on the ground.

Now with his beginners' wooden sword and a metal spike in hand, he slowly edged into the cavern. It was completely illuminated by torches and it was a relatively big tunnel that could fit a few horse-drawn carriages.

As he walked the tunnel transitioned from a dreary rocky wall to a pure white marble wall carved with intricate patterns of flowers or humans. The torches also started to disappear and instead were replaced by natural sunlight. Finally, he came into a large room, well chamber would be a better way to describe it. Marble pillars supported the chamber and brilliant arches were everywhere.

But everything was white, the floor was white the pillars the walls even the light looked like it was giving a white radiance, it was so white that it started to hurt his eyes.

But finally in the middle was a chest, nothing else, a regular wooden chest that stood out from its surroundings with its normalness.

Jason did what any other person would do, he dashed toward the chest intent on opening it but stopped out of caution.

Jason poked it a few times with his sword and checked if anything was weird. Nothing so he went up and carefully opened the lockless chest.

An even whiter light filled the room and something seemed to escape from the chest a mysterious voice spoke

"Young adventurer, thank you for setting me free. In return, I shall gift you a blessing"

[You have freed an unknown entity]

[It offers you a blessing do you accept?]

"yes"

the voice spoke again

"what do you desire?"

Options started to appear in front of Jason

[strength]

[growth]

[money]

He had only three options and no further explanation was given to Jason.

Boops started to help him again and reasoned

'hmmm okay, so strength you'll get if you just level up and money we will get a lot of if we play our cards right. So"

boops finished,

"I think you should go for growth as it could give you certain beneficial things.'

'alright I had the same train of thought too'

He chose the growth option and the entity shrouded in white responded

"good choice young adventurer, most people are fixed on momentary gains but you have an insight that goes past monetary gains"

After saying its praise, it raised its hands and a white light entered Jasons body

[you have been given the growth blessing +20% Exp gained]

Before Jason and boops had time to celebrate their large gain the entity said a final thank you and disappeared in white light.

The room which was once full of radiance and whiteness started to lose its radiance and everything started to fade back to a normal greyish sheen.

With nothing else to do Jason left the chamber and went back to the tunnel.

But now he had another problem, and that was trying to get out of the pit he had just fallen into. He pulled out the metal spikes placed them into both hands and readied himself.
