2 Chapter 2

We arrived at the restaurant, and Dimitri kept his hand at the small of my back as he walked us in. As soon as we entered the doors we were immediately escorted to our table, and had napkins placed on our laps. The waiter didn't even ask what we wanted, just walked off to talk to the chef. "I ordered in advance, since I figured you would be extremely indecisive." I turned my attention to Dimitri as he spoke, and my eyebrows rose in surprise. "Oh really?"

He smirked at me and cocked his head to the side. "Why, you seem upset by my choice, Analisse. What's the matter?" I gave him a sarcastic laugh as my reply, and turned my attention towards the paintings on the walls instead. "Analisse. Tell me what the problem is, baby girl." My body stiffened at his words and I immediately crossed my legs, allowing the napkin to fall to the floor.

One of his eyebrows rose as he smirked at me, and I bit my lip as I contemplated my answer. "Now, it seems like something is... Causing you to flush. Are you okay?" He asked, a sarcastic hint tinting his words. "I-... I have no problem with you ordering for me. As long as it turns out to be good food, I won't walk out on you."

I then looked away as a waiter approached our table once again. "Champagne for the misses and mister." I blushed when the waiter said that and just as I opened my mouth to protest, Dimitri cut me off. "Thank you, you are dismissed." I turned to face Dimitri and glared at him.

"So I noticed... In the car... You reacted to me when I called you baby girl by crossing your legs and blushing. To my knowledge, when a woman does that, she is usually... Aroused. Tell me, Analisse. How did you feel?" He folded his hands and placed his head on them after he finished speaking, staring at me with eyes that glinted suspiciously.

I bit my lip again, trying to figure out whether or not I wanted to answer this. Just as I stopped biting my lip, my phone buzzed with an incoming call. I smiled as I looked down, glad for the distraction. I brought my phone up, and looked at the caller ID to see who it was. Dimitri loudly cleared his throat, startling me in the process.

I looked up at him to see his palm out, and he spoke. "Analisse. Really? Just give me your phone." I rolled my eyes and huffed, knowing that I wasn't willing to make a scene in public just because I wanted to keep my phone. "Fine, Dad." I said as I handed my phone over. He turned it off and spoke quietly. "Daddy." He corrected. I froze and the smile on my face slowly slipped. Did he just... Was that his way of telling me to-

"And dinner is served!" Said the waiter, interrupting my thought process as he placed steaming hot plates of food in front of us. The 2nd waiter then glanced at me and froze, and then smiled as he opened his mouth to speak. "Ma'am, it seems you have misplaced your napkin. Here, let me replace it." I leaned back slightly in my chair and looked Dimitri dead in the eye as the waiter gently placed a new napkin on my lap, and I noticed that the corner of his eye slightly twitched.

"That's good. Thank you for your services." Dimitri said in a cold, cutoff tone. The waiter nodded and walked off, finally leaving us alone to enjoy our meal. "Well?" I asked as I picked up my fork. I smirked at Dimitri and stuck my fork in the first piece of meat I saw. "Let's eat."

----

We were back in the car, a tension filled silence already blooming between us. I glanced over at Dimitri and then cleared my throat, proudly. He glanced over at me and sighed, then finally spoke. "Yes, Analisse?" I smiled and turned towards him, then exhaled in relief. "Soo..?" I asked, purposely letting my sentence trail off. "So what?" He asked, annoyance clearly evident in his voice.

I sighed and rolled my eyes. "Can I have my phone back?" He stiffened and glanced at me, clenching his jaw in the process. He looked as if he wanted to argue, but instead he relaxed and threw me a smirk. "I didn't hear the magic words, babe." The smile on my face froze and I blanked for a moment. Then I remembered his whispered words at the restaurant. Daddy...

"May I please get my phone back, Daddy?" I said with a bright smile, and in return I got to watch the smirk fall from his face... Replaced by astonishment. He refused to speak, and refused to move to get my phone. He sped up and turned off on some other road, dragging me to a place unknown. "Dimitri? Where are we going?"

I was nervous. What's gotten into him? Suddenly he spoke, but it wasn't an answer to my question. "You don't have anyone to return home to, do you?" Without thinking I told him no, but I guess I should have thought my answer out. He nodded his response and continued to speed up, quickly reaching dangerous speeds as the objects beside the road blurred together.

I glanced at how fast he was going, then frowned deeply. I was scared, he was at least 75 over the limit... And I didn't even know where he was taking me. I almost wanted to cry. What have I gotten myself into? I shook my head and leaned back in my seat, trying to appear calm in the situation. "Dimitri, you're going too fast." I said in the strictest tone I could muster.

He scoffed to himself quietly, and then threw me a face. "We're going to my place, baby girl. Is that a problem for you?" My mouth opened slightly in surprise as I quickly turned to peer at his face. He was playing with fire at the moment, and he knew it. "Are you serious?" I asked in a quiet voice, losing my courage for the moment. "Yes. In fact, we're about 5 minutes away."

I undid my seatbelt and turned to look in the back where I had thrown my clutch. Suddenly I felt a slight sting on my ass, and I jumped back into my seat. "Put your seatbelt back on, baby girl." I quickly put it back on, feeling heat pool in a forbidden place as Dimitri stroked an unknown inferno. Maybe he liked playing with fire.
