3 03 Rebound

"Ms. Xiaoxiao, can I trouble you to get me a wheelchair?" Mrs. Zhou requested. Han Jixiao and Zhou Shen was both confused by what the old woman wants to do, but Han Jixiao still followed Mrs. Zhou's request and get a wheelchair.

She helped Mrs. Zhou to get on the wheelchair; Mrs. Zhou rolled the wheel of the wheelchair and get the sweeper at the corner of the room. "How dare she fooled my son! I'll beat her up until her vixen's face can't seduce any more men!" She shouted like a mad woman while getting more furious.

The two was startled by Mrs. Zhou's actions; when they got back to their senses, they pulled the wheelchair and help Mrs. Zhou to calm down.

"Mom, calm down and just rest. You just came from a surgery, don't exhaust yourself." Zhou Shen was trying to calm down her mother and at the same time, divert her attention from her ex-girlfriend.

For 2 years, Zhou Shen admitted that she loved Ji Ling so much; he can't accept that his beloved girlfriend get together with another man just because of money. He was so disappointed to himself cause he can't see through the true colors who he love so much.

Han Jixiao's phone ring, it was Li Meiqing. "Mrs. Zhou please excuse me, I have some matters to attend to." Han Jixiao bowed and excuse herself.

Mrs. Zhou ordered her son to help her out.

Zhou Shen walked together with Han Jixiao out of the hospital. "Thanks for your hospitality Mr. Zhou, you need to go now and accompany your mother."

"It's my pleasure. What about you?" asked Zhou Shen.

"Well, someone will pick me up." She smiled and made a farewell to Zhou Shen.

Zhou Shen was somewhat furious when he heard what she say, but he didn't let her see his appearance and walk in to the hospital to check his mother.

In truth, there's no one picking up Han Jixiao; she just said that to avoid occupying Zhou Shen's time. She went to the restroom near the parking lot of the hospital and quickly change into her male clothes. Its a bit dangerous for her to call her driver cause she knows that everything she do will be reported if there's any servants from the Han family by her side. She went to the company and got busy by the file of works on her table.

Meanwhile, Zhou Shen fell asleep on his chair while leaning his head on her mother's bed. He had a dream about someone who he desired for over this past few years.

He was 16 at that time and his father send him to the U.S. to avoid family conflict. Zhou Shen is an illegitimate son of the Mo family, that's the reason why his father send him there to study and to avoid more trouble.

His father thinks that Zhou Shen and his mother will cause trouble for him since he didn't give them any money since Zhou Shen was born.

Zhou Shen was still studying at Business Harry College School at that time; he was known as a genius who gets scholarship and independently living by his own.

He's walking at the hall, a cute girl went to him when reach the corner of the hall. The girl confessed to him while blushing at the same time. "I..." Zhou Shen wanted to reject the girl peacefully, but someone suddenly talk.

"Tsk, tsk." Zhou Shen and the girl looked at where the sound came from. They saw a young boy, his short wavy brown hair was being blown away by the wind. He looks cool and cold, giving an aloof aura around him.

The young boy went to Zhou Shen; he pressed his head near to him and kiss him on his lips. Zhou Shen feels the softness of the lips intertwined within him. He wants to push away that young boy but his body didn't listen to him.

The young boy stopped and look at the dumbfounded girl in front of him. "Heh! He's mine, what will you do then?"

The girl bowed and say sorry to the both of them and left. Americans people were quit open in this kind of thing that's why the girl take a pity that those two Chinese men she just met were gay.

After that day, the young boy courts him everyday in those two years he lived in U.S.; he always accompany and learned many things from him about business. They shared knowledge to each other, but that boy suddenly left without a farewell.

His eyes dimmed and felt empty within his heart. He keeps thinking of that boy and that arrogant and devilish smirk of his.

His father called him to go back and take care of his mother who was in the hospital because of a car accident.

Zhou Shen woke up, his forehead was sweating. He panicked and look at his mother who's sleeping peacefully on the bed. He felt at ease when he realize that its just a dream of his past.

He pulled the quilt to cover her mother and went out. Zhou Shen reached the Sun Corporation and went to the top floor; he's the secretary of the CEO of Sun Corporation, Sun Duan.

Sun Duan is the one Zhou Shen saw that night, he's the man who was together with his ex-girlfriend Ji Ling. He knock and opened the door; he saw Sun Duan and Ji Ling eating intimately and feeding each other. Zhou Shen's fist tightened, he admitted that he didn't love Ji Ling from the start and just answered to her confession because he wants to get over from the boy who just leave him. After this past few years he learned to love her, but he was now ended up being cheated.

He knows that he is wrong and used Ji Ling to be a rebound of someone from the past, maybe this is what he got for paying the price.
