Stupid?

You were heading out of the store with your groceries when. You bumped into a familiar face. "Hey Ace". The fore mentioned girl looked up "oh hey Aiden what are you doing here I thought you moved". You were confused to say the least he was supposed to be moving in with his girlfriend out of town so why was he in town at the town store blinking you realized he had gone silent "hey Aiden you good".

He flinched as you poked him when he didn't respond to you asking if he was ok, " hm oh yeah just came to visit some old friends they invited me to there party" you realized you guys were blocking the door as you two stepped to the side so an elderly couple could walk past "oh really I was sent an invite last night" you replied looking up you saw your friends walking up to you and him you laughed as they both waved and said hi to him "wow it's been awhile" said your friend Alisha "yeah it has how have you two been" he replied referring to both of your friends one who still didn't realize who was talking to them "uhm sorry but who are you?"

She said looking at him confused about the stranger " oh come on you really don't remember me Cass" she laughed noticing who it was in seconds of him responding to her. " It's nice getting to talk and all but I'm gonna be late so see you guys at the party" before you could speak and say you weren't going Cassy replied basically dooming you "of course all three of us with be there, nice getting to talk" she said as he walked of waving responding with a "see you there then, have a good day".
