8 Chapter 8

Corey's POV

I keep wondering who this girl must be,Because no girl has ever given me an attitude before. She seems different... and Beautiful at that. I want her,but not like every other girl I've met. She's feisty and she seems brilliant too. Aish! This is weird.

"oh Corey. You're back from school." Nanny Flores said.

"Mm." I replied,tapping on my phone

"Come to the table. I made Pasta and Meat sauce for lunch" Nanny Flores said.

"Really?!" I said,excitedly.

"Yeah,hurry up and wash up so that you can eat lunch. You seem stressed."Nanny Flores said.

"Alright" I said,running to my bedroom and almost falling down the stairs.

45 minutes later,I came to the dining room and the aroma of the meat sauce was so great,that I could literally eat the Aroma.

"Alright. Dig in" Nanny Flores said,as she dropped my food on my table.

I ate the Pasta and within a short period,I had finished 3 bowls of pasta and Peppered meat sauce.

I picked the dishes from the table and dropped them in the dishwasher and shouted a "Thank you" to Nanny Flores.

I headed to my room and within no time,I fell asleep.

Ashley's POV

Lunch with Dad was fun as usual. Dad talked about his new job and all the fun times he's having at work cause of the nice people there. It looked great to see him joyous even though he changed working environments. I washed up and headed to the kitchen to see what I'd prepare for dinner. I checked the freezer and I saw Fresh fish and Tomatoes,so I decided to prepare Jollof rice with Peppered Fish. I took out the fish to cut,wash and season it,after which I washed the rice while it was the fish was on fire. I washed the fresh tomatoes and peppers with a lot of onions and blended them. I equally sliced some peppers and onions for The fish frying. I brought out Vegetable oil and other Jollof rice spices and seasonings and I was set to prepare food.

70 minutes later,I finished preparing the food and was about watching TV when I heard a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" I asked.

I opened the door and I saw Corey Graves at my door.

"What are you doing here?"
