12 Chapter 12

Corey's POV.

Preparing for school is never difficult for me, probably only after a big nightmare. The English class was a bit boring so I decided to go out of the class to stroll around the school. I went to the rooftop and I was staring down at the School compound. All of a sudden thoughts of Ashley came into my mind and I was somewhat worried about why I'll be thinking bout a girl I've only recently met.

Whatever. It's not like I like her tho. Or do I?? I asked myself several times when I heard Jeremy,my best friend say,"Penny for your thoughts." "Christ! You scared the hell outta me. I told you to never barge in on me like that,you nut job"I said,turning back to stare at the surroundings of the school. "Whatever. What are you doing up here??" he asked. "Nothing. Just escaping from Boredom" I answered dryly. "By boredom,you mean Mr Stephen's English class,eh?? You jerk" I heard Dean,The nerd in our group say out loud. "Oh,I'm surprised you've escaped the class too. You're not one to play Hooky." I said,smrking my lips Mockingly. "I'm surprised,dude. My twin's playing hooky?! Shit. Mom's gonna blame for teaching you bad habits,You dick." Connor said,tapping his brother on the arm.

"Whatever,I'm gonna make sure that Mom never finds out I played hooky." Dean said,shrugging his shoulders.

"What are y'all doing here?" Matthew asked,walking in with Ver and Billy.

"They're playing hooky obviously,you nut job. Are you blind or something?" Ver said quietly,smacking Matthew on the hand.

"I just wanted peace and quiet and now I'm surrounded by noisy buffalos. The heck?!" I said sighing. "Chill out,man. We're your buddies. Beside,you look troubled. you're okay,dude?" Connor said,tapping my arm and Jerry wrapped his arms around me.

Nope,I'm not. I'm thinking about the new girl in our class,and she's been on my mind since I got out of bed this morning. I said,in my thoughts. "Did you hear?? Edward Royce is back." Billy said,folding his arms.

"So?" I said,shrugging my shoulders. Then I heard the bell ring and "Let's yo have lunch. I'm hungry." I'm not actually hungry,I just wanna see if I'll see Ashley. I thought.

"Yeah.. Let's have Pancakes?? With Sprite. That'll do" Matthew said. "Okay.. Let's go!!" I said and we all ran down to the cafeteria.

We got to the cafeteria and Ashley eyes met mine. I was about to wave at her when my eyes went to the person sitting in front of her. I narrowed my eyes as my brain recognized who he was. Edward Park. He's really back. And what the fuck is he doing right in front of Ashley?!!
