11 Chapter 11

"So Arthur, what's going on between you and Elena? I have been seeing you both together lately. Trina mustn't find out about what you're doing." A guy named Steven said

"Trina wouldn't find out, trust me" Arthur said confidently

"So it's still Trina you're taking to the prom right?" another guy asked

"Yes" Arthur answered

"But tell me, who is Elena to you? Isn't she not the same chick that saved you few weeks back." the first guy asked

"Yes, she's the one" Arthur answered

"She likes you, hope you can tell?" the first guy said.

"Yes I can." Arthur answered

The three of them were all discussing over a poker game, at Arthur's residence.

"Did you tell her Trina is your real girlfriend?" the second guy asked

"No way....I didn't." Arthur answered instantly

"Why? Or you just couldn't say it" the first guy asked

"I could, but I didn't want to. She looked satisfied with my twisted story anyways." Arthur said. "And I don't really like Trina anyways, I'm just in for what she can give. I do like Elena though"

"Did you forget about Darwin?" the second guy asked

"What about him?" Arthur asked in a distasteful manner

"He was there at the party the night you asked Trina to be your girlfriend." The second guy said

"So what" Arthur said, like as if Darwin was the least of his concerns.

"He is Kevin's elder brother." the second guy pointed out

"Why was he at the party anyways?" Arthur asked

"Trina invited him"

"How is that now my concern?" Arthur asked

"He might have explained it to his younger brother Kevin by now, I mean, he would have told him everything that went on at the party. Darwin and Kevin are awfully close you know" the first guy explained

"Listen Arthur, once Kevin hears the true story, and I'm sure Elena might have explained your twisted story to him as well. He would definitely tell Elena the whole truth behind your twisted story." the second guy explained

"No he wouldn't" Arthur said

"He would trust me" the first guy said.

"He surely would" the second guy agreed.

"That means I have to get to Kevin before he tells Elena everything." Arthur said

"Or his elder brother-Darwin" the second guy added

"Or him...yes" Arthur agreed. "But how do I reach Darwin? He isn't schooling here." Now Arthur acted concerned

"He attends the school school with Trina's ex, why don't you ask for his contact from her" the first guy answered

"Nah....Trina would be suspicious" Arthur said

"Well you should have thought about that before twisting your story" the second guy said "Wait hold up, did you say you like Elena? I think you mentioned that earlier"

"Yes i do, but guys like us keep those feelings to our self right" Arthur answered

"I don't know where you might have heard that from, but that's a lie" the second guy said

"True, I don't see any good thing coming out of this" the first guy said.

"You know, if she finds out, she might think you toiled with her feelings. I'll suggest you come clean dude, it's better and safer." the second guy added

"I agree as well. Let's just assume Kevin hasn't gotten to her yet, and you tell her the truth maybe now, you still have the chance of still being friends with her." the first guy said

"But I have a reputation" Arthur said selfishly

"Forget that dude, its Elena that going to get damaged more. You're dating the school most popular diva, who gets what she wants when she wants. And if she finds out about you and Elena, Trina is definitely going to do worse than humiliating Elena" the first guy said.

"You can come clean and still maintain your reputation, whatever that is" the second guy added

"What is your reputation anyways?" the first guy asked

"You know..." Arthur answered and paused like he was unsure of what to say

"No I don't know dude. Is it dating the school most popular diva, or being the first to hurt the school most kind hearted girl. If your reputation is the first, you are just a random student schooling in the same school with me." the first guy said angrily

"I need some ari" Arthur said, and he rose from his seat and he crossed over to the balcony.

"Bring some back for me dude" the second guy said jokingly

Arthur got to the balcony and he sat on the chair outside. He bent forward and placed his head in his hands.

"I really do like Elena, and I do want her. But not know.

Why I'm I taking this seriously anyways? This isn't my concern. I'll just ask Kevin if his elder brother mentioned anything to him, regarding the party. If he says no, I move on with my life. But Elena....I can't risk losing her. I'll just break up with Trina before the prom, to avoid any drama." Arthur spoke to himself.

Arthur immediately picked up his phone and texted Kevin. He asked Kevin if Darwin had explained anything to him as regards the party. But to his surprise, Kevin had no idea what Arthur was talking about.

Arthur felt relieved and told Kevin not to bother any more.

Now the only thing left was just to break up with Trina.
