2 Petty Deliquents

Morris was... not sure what just happened but the fact that only he can see the status, "Now, I don't have to worry about people that I'm different now..." Morris smiled. Morris noticed the time and panicked, "Oh no, I'm gonna be late!" Morris muttered and immediately ran off his room.

He wore his uniform and jumped in the table, "You're awfully in a good mood today., did something happen?" Lilith asked as she puts the spoon on her mouth.

"No, not really." Morris politely answered back and quickly finished off his breakfast, then he ran out of the house in a hurry.

"Usually, that guy always frown all the time." Lilith thought as she found it strange. She stood up and took out the plate that Morris left, "Oh well, that's a good sign." Lilith smiled and went to the sink.

Following Morris, he ran from his home to school which is 2 kilometers away in a less than 10 minutes, "Is it just me or was that too quick?" Morris thought but shrugged it off. It's strange because Morris wasn't taking a breath, like it was nothing at all.

A status screen showed and explained it very well, "So that's the effect of the title, whatever I do is 50% better." Morris smiled and thought that he will have a chance against the bullies today.

"Oh no, it's already time!" Morris panicked and room to the school...

Morris spoke to the Principal yesterday about malicious deliquents stealing money from people, not just students but also bystanders. The deliquents eventually found out by who knows how, that Morris was the snitch.

The Leader, Kevin and his girlfriend Kathy, was angry when they heard the news. So just after school, they pulled out Morris and beats him up.

Morris was sitting on his desk in the last period of the afternoon as he watched the scenery from the window besides him, "I wonder how I'm going to fight back..." Morris was shaking, trembling about what happened in the past.

Morris breathed out and clutched his hands, "No, it won't happen this time." Morris thought as the bell rings. "It's time..." Morris stood up as he left the room. He looked at the broom box and saw a long stick, "What they'll do to me, I can't forgive that..."

Morris' face was like normal yet inside him, he is really angry. He took the long stick and hid it in his bag. "They should pull me right about..." A status screen showed up...

"Hey Morris..." Keven stepped out of the darkness from the alleyway of the school as 8 other deliquents follow. Morris glanced at them as he took a breath, Kevin continued. "Come with us."

Two deliquents came out and went behind Morris, "You better follow us.." A deliquent said. Morris closed his eyes then opened again but this time, a serious face, "Sure..." Morris agreed as he was escroted by 2 men behind him as they go into the darkness.

Morris was waiting in the alleyway, "Did you know what you've done?" Kevin asked as his expression was bitter. His arms were crossed as he demanded an answer.

Morris simply asked, "Who found out about me snitching?" Morris replied with a straigh-face but deep inside, he was screaming for his life but it's now a matter of life and death. He can't chicken out this time.

"Oh, so you knew?" Kevin asked with a smile, "..." Morris simply stared and said nothing.

"Fine, it was this guy." Kevin pointed out the man behind Morris, "He heard you talking with the principal when he was out for a stroll. Morris, do you know the consequences of your action?" Kevin's face became seriously angry as he popped his hands.

"Yeah, that's why I'm gonna do it first." Morris replied as he quickly took out the stick from his bag and in a moment's notice, Morris already attack the two man from behind with a simple hit in the jawbone.

Morris looked at his hands as he opened and closed it, "So this is the effect of the title." Morris muttered in shock.

"You asked for it chump! Boys, get him!" Kevin pointed out to Morris to order an attack as was enraged. All deliquents started running as they took out weapons that they were hiding... Knuckles, Bat's and steel pipes, "You asked for it!" One of the deliquents shouted.

They began to throw their bats at Morris but unexpectedly, Morris keeps dodging them, "H-how can this be!?" Kevin muttered in shock as he saw the nerdy Morris dodging every fast attacks the deliquents gave.

In Morris' perspective, it's like time slowed down a bit and with the Instinct Stats, he can sense where danger is, "Instinct is more useful than I though." Morris thought as he had enough of dodging. One by one, Morris dodged and attack at the same time.

With a kick on the other, he grabbed the steel pipe that one of the deliquent Morris defeated and used it as a weapon. Bang, "5 down, 4 two go." Morris muttered as he hit them with absolute force, seeing blood gush out of their mouths.

In a matter of time, all deliquents passed out. Morris could sense that they are not dead, "So it's only you and me, Kevin..." Morris said in a cold voice. Kevin was beginning to shake but then Morris said, "Is that all you got, wussy?"

The moment Kevin broke down as he clamped his hands together and smashed it into the ground, "F-fast!" Morris muttered as he tried to dodge. Luckily, he barely dodged it and the wind pressure on the attack wounded his face a little.

"Kevin, this guy's a monster." Morris was shocked, to think that something like this could exist, "That's why I got killed." Morris stood up and wiped his wound to get the blood away. Morris was beginning to shake hard but it wasn't fear... it was excitement.

Morris suddenly smiled as he went out for an attack, "I don't know why but this is exciting!" Morris shouted as he readied his steel pipe and attacked.

"F-fast!!" Kevin was too huge to jump and dodge and could only defend as he covered his head with his arms. Suddenly, Morris appeared below the ground, clear of the arms guarding the head from on top, "Gotcha!"

Morris slashed his steel pipe upward as Kevin was sent out flying, "I-I won..." Morris knelt down as the toll from the battle was too exhausting from his body, "I-I won!!" Morris shouted in joy, "Who knew I'd be such a battle junkie!"
