A Coward, A Liar or Both

All three of them looked towards the compartment with Zoro's hands on his sword but he relaxed when he saw that it was Stuart who came with three bags in his hands.

"Stuart-kun where were you?, where did you go?, How did you came back? and What is in the bag?" Nami barraged Stuart with her questions.

I went to the Marine base with the three guys took the bounty and came back to the boat. Here guys take it 5 million berries each since we are crewmates everyone will get equal shares ok" said Stuart as he gave each one a bag filled with money

Nami's eyes turned into berries when she heard about it but she not only took her own bag she also snatched Luffy's bag from him and said "Since you gave them my money i will be taking yours and our account will be clear"

Luffy started sulking but once again became happy when Nami have him meat.

After everyone was settled Nami asked "Tell me Stuart which Devil fruit did you eat and what powers did it gave you"

Though Stuart's space power was a quir instead of a fruit but it's obvious he couldn't tell them that so his answer was "I ate Space-Space fruit so I have powers related to it such as teleportation, spacial manipulation or distortion, which gives me enough strength to back my words regarding taking out all the pirates with top bounty which only have Arlong left now"

Everyone was amazed hearing about Stuart's overpowered abilities but Nami's face changed when she heard Arlong's name first it was anger and when Stuart said he will take him down she looked a little worried Zoro and Stuart both saw her expression but Luffy was busy thinking of different ways to use .

After a week of traveling Stuart asked "Nami when will we reach the nearest island Luffy has almost eaten the food and the reserve food that I keep will go on for a week at most"

"Just few days we will reach an island and hopefully we will be able to acquire a ship for ourselves as we can't travel in this boat forever" replied Nami.

"Yeah we are pirates who doesn't have a ship and a captain who eats like a gluton" said Zoro.

"Hey I don't do that" said Luffy.

"""You do""" said all three of them together then started laughing while Luffy looked unhappy.

After few days they reached the island whose name was Gecko Island.

As all them deboarded the ship Luffy and Zoro started looking around while Stuart was walking alongside Nami but at that time someone started to shoot pachinko balls at Luffy's feet then came a voice

"Hold it right there you pirates? This island is under me the great Captain Usopp if you tried anything funny then my 80 million underlings will take care of you" said Usopp.

"Amazinnngggg" said Luffy with his eyes shinning.

"He is lying Luffy" said Nami.

"Aaahh You didn't fell for it" said Usopp.

"See" said Nami

"So it was a lie" said Luffy being a little downcast.

"Ughhh Ok but my crewmates are still strong, savage and will beat you all" lied Usopp once again.

"Three Kids" said Nami and Stuart together. When the kids herd that they were caught they ran away leaving there captain back.

"Hey Hey wait" said Usopp but the kids didn't stop then he looked at us and said "You don't come forward I may be alone but my aim with Slingshot is deadlier than pistol"

"Now that you have said pistol than can you bet your life on it" said Luffy while adjusting his Straw Hat "It's not a play thing" he continued startling Usopp, Zoro and Stuart backed him up by standing on his both sides with Zoro's hands on his sword while Stuart just stood there without showing any expression.

Usopp didn't said anything but he let the Slingshot go from his hands and sighed.

"You are Usopp, Yasopp's son right" asked Luffy.

Hearing his dad's name Usopp fell from the cliff he was standing and came down rolling down towards them.

"aaahh ouch... Yes that's my father's name" said

Usopp flafter he was infront of them, Luffy then told the story about him meeting his father and all. After there talk with Usopp he took them inside the bar of syrup village as Luffy kept on insisting that he wants meat.

Once they ordered the food Stuart who was being constantly ogled by the girls present at the bar asked "Is there a place where we could buy a ship for us in this village"

"No actually it's a small village so we don't have someone who could make a ship like that... shoot I will be late see you guys later" said Usopp and started running out of the bar.

When the food was served Luffy started gobbling it, the bartender who was a woman came to Stuart's side and gave him an extra peice of meat and said "Here it is handsome take it, it's on the house"

"Thanks Miss" said Stuart while smiling.

She blushed and said "It's alright" then went to do her work.

"Why did you got that for free when you didn't even like meat much I also want it for free" said Luffy.

"It's because he is handsome and the lady wanted to impress him, and since you look like an idiot seeing the way you eat no one will give you anything for free" said Nami then she looked at Stuart and pulled his hood on his face once again while saying "You should where this while or things like this will keep happening"

Stuart could hear a ting of jealousy in her voice so he smiled and said "Ok I will do what you say my lady"

Nami blushed hearing the way he addressed her.

After everyone has finished their food three boys came inside the bar while holding wooden swords and asked for where there captain is, they were the kids who were with Usopp and then ran away leaving him there.

"Whew... that was some good meat" said Luffy while patting his stomach. The three seems to misunderstand the situation and fearfully asked that wether they ate him or not.

"We.... ate him" said Zoro adding oil in the fire and confirming there doubts which scared the shit out of children and they started calling Nami 'Onibaba'.

"Your captain said that he was getting late for something and ran away" said Stuart after the fiasco was over.

To which one of the kids explained that he must have gone to the mansion to lie to the owner and further explain the situation to them.

Luffy suggested that they should go to the mansion and ask for a ship from the owner.

"You guys can go I and Nami will just look around the village" said Stuart.

"WHAT!!?" said Nami in shock.

"Yes let's go Comon it would like date just the two of us and we haven't really been alone since the time we met on the Marine Base" said Stuart

"I-i-i-i-i..... OK" said Nami while blushing and stuttering for a long time.
