6 Chapter 1 - Part 5 - The Arrival of The Overlord

The sound of two people hitting the ground broke the silent amidst the howling winds on the empty and broken place.

The woman known as Tiriel were clinging at Vlad's body without a care and soon after a quiet sobbing of a crying woman entered his ears.

'She is crying!'

With a troubled expression on his face, Vlad just let her be without knowing what to do. Although he is not a stranger when it comes to a woman's emotional distress.

He doesn't know if he should hug her and calm her or should he just let her be to let all of her pent up frustration on him.

Vlad knew that he was in a different world. But still seeing a game character became alive is still very troubling for him.

Just thinking how deplorable his thoughts were when he's making them made him even more uncomfortable to look at the woman in front of him in the face.

The lustful fantasy and his desire were still vivid in his mind. Now that one of them were hugging him like there's no tomorrow, is both joyful and something to be happy.

Yet he was troubled as to how he should comfort Tiriel like he's some kind of virgin boy.

That made him lost in thought with a funny expression. He was both enjoying it but a frown on his brows made him look like he's in agony.

He knew that what he's doing is rude and insensitive. However, after a few moments of contemplating, Vlad then decide to just go with the flow.

He can't do anything and not in control of what is happening right at this moment. So with a small sigh, he then hugged her back trying to calm her down.

'The matter of crossing world can wait for a while.' He thought while closing his eyes.

His right hand were caressing her messy hair as he tried to calm her down while making sure that the messy hair became straight again.

Her sobbing were so heart breaking to Vlad, he was sure that something really world shaking has happened for her to be crying like that.

Although he didn't know what happened, but for her to cry like that, Vlad did not put a setting for her to show weakness no matter what happens.

She was what he would call a strong woman that could go through deep water and hell fire with a smile on her face.

That is how she was supposed to be. So seeing her crying made him really flabbergasted. Of course he was still not convinced enough that he was actually in another world.

But now that he was sure of it, he noticed a very major crisis that could possibly endanger his life! When his thoughts went there, he let out a dark aura with a frown on his devilish handsome face.

'I still don't know what is going on... so it would be reasonable if i stay low key for a while. Gather some information and then move around like some kind of travelers.'

As he was planning for what he's going to do next after this, he could hear that Tiriel seems to be calmed down and stopped crying.

Feeling a little bit awkward, Vlad blinked his eyes in wonder. He was hesitating whether he should start to ask her or wait a little bit more.

But his curiosity won in the end, so he started to open his mouth to ask just what is happening to all of his wealth.

"Tiriel... can you tell me, what happened to my castle... what has happened to Genesis?"

He asked with a heavy tone. Vlad was preparing to hear the worst and maybe he should start planning for what to do immediately.

Just as he was thinking and imagining about what kind of horrible incident to cause his great floating island Genesis to fall, he could feel Tiriel raised her head to look at him.

"Sadista, Richel and Kalina has betrayed us. They plotted against me! Those bitches took everything and rebelled!"

Tiriel said with so much venom that her face became dark with fury. Her eyes were filled with hate as her breathing became raged.

"Master! When you disappeared back then, we changed!" She said seriously after regulating her breathing.

"At first, we are not sure about what we should do. But after seeing the panicked soldiers, we decided to keep the order and make sure that everything runs smoothly like normal."

"It was well known that i was the first you created and was made as the leader of the four Devas, so i tried my best to keep them in line and obeyed the rule that you made for us."

After she says that, she then looked down with a guilty expression on her face. It was as if she has done something really outrageous to the point of calamity kind of guilt.

Vlad didn't know how he should describe it, but the expression she was making right now was so much filled with pain and self blame.

He was not in a hurry to interrupt her. Even though he was pissed that his wealth has disappeared and turned to nothing but dirt! He could not do anything now except for lamenting and grumbling.

So he keep his silence as he waited for Tiriel to continue talking.

"But one day... exactly one hundred and sixty years after you disappeared, we fell into despair. We thought we were abandoned and i... I can't stop them from doubting you!"

She almost shouted the last part as she grabbed Vlad's neck with her soft and delicate hands. It looked like she was about to strangle him to death!

But there was never any pain as she just grabbed his neck softly. Vlad looked calm and composed on the outside, but internally, he was cursing and yelling at Tiriel for giving him such a fright!

'Holy shit! You damn bitch just made my heart jump in scare! I thought i was going to be murdered by you!'

Vlad knew that what she went through must've been really terrible. Although he didn't know just what is going on, he realised that whatever happened in the past for her, he need to do something to at least, make her happy again!

For him, it was like a moment. But for her, it must've been a few thousands year.

So for now, he need to make her stop thinking about the past! And frankly, he really didn't care what happened. He was just in despair knowing that, he was supposed to be rich in this world! But it seems that his luck is just that terrible...

Vlad then moved his hands to grab into her hands on his neck. He was careful when he put his hands on hers, he doesn't want her to be agitated by his action, so he carefully grabbed her hands and moved it away from his neck.

"Tiriel... You can blame me all you want. You can be angry at me however you want. But please, please don't cry again. It hurt my heart seeing you like this."

He said gently and softly. Vlad was honestly really sad and angry. He was angry at himself, and mostly he was angry at the gods!
