3 Chapter 1 - Part 2 - The Arrival of The Overlord

Lion was stunned, he was in all of his life, for the first time since he was born, feels stunned that he could feel his soul almost slip away from his body, for the second times… After what seemed like an hours long, Lion then snapped back to reality as he looked at the ring with a weird expression.

"I know that there is something strange about my situation. But I never would've imagined to be send to another world… There is no way a ring could have this weird fog like thing around it. Not only that…. no matter how hard I tried to deny it, this surge of power I kept feeling is not my imagination either."

He was frowning as he said that, he actually felt there is something wrong the moment he woke up in that weird magic circle like thing. And he confirmed it when he kicked the candle when he walked over it a moment ago.

The kick he was intending were supposed to be a 'knock it over' and not 'kick it away' like what he just did a moment ago. He didn't even use that much strength when he swing his leg, but the candle fly quite far away even when he just lightly knock it over.

Now that was something out of his mind! Lion tried to not think too hard about it, and just chalk it as him being nervous. However, after seeing the ring and his current clothing, he just couldn't find an excuse to run away anymore.

The clothes he currently wear were the equipment called {Dark Night Set}. It was quite a strong equipment that he wears to look cool when he was fooling around in the game… That's right, it was an outfit he wear to play with the noob, and have fun mocking others back in the 'game'.

An MMORPG called Tear of Hell! A popular online game back in his old world. Artura Lion, or {Vlad Nergal} Is what he currently looked like, as far as the equipment has shown him. Thinking that he really need a big mirror as of right now, no matter how small it is to check his current appearance.

His heart beat became quite fast to the point that he almost went hyperventilating. Though he quickly drew a large breathes and tried to calm himself. He didn't want to try and test it if his body were really that of {Vlad Nergal}, the very same character he created in the game.

As weird as it sounded, Lion was feeling that it was all a dream and he's going to wake up soon. He was trying to deny his conjecture and just forget about everything.

Tough luck for him, that thought were blown away after he saw the skull ring eyes glowed bright dark green. He knew what it means, he read the description like mad back then so of course he knew what it means.

{The Ring of Death Lord} is quite a broken item in its own right. The ring has the power to protect the wearer from all negative status and protect the mind from being attacked or controlled. Not only that, it has the function to reject DEATH.

That's right! It reject death itself! Meaning, he will never die! No matter how he got his HP turned to big'ol ZERO, it will return to being full the next moment. How crazy that shit is! He wondered why the hell did the development team created such an item for?!

Isn't that the same like a cheat code?! Though, no matter how crazy the item's effect were, he's not going to actually complain about it… well, who would? He's not an idiot to let such a godlike blessing to pass by.

And it was one of the 5 godly and broken items he got from the similarly broken Boss NPC…. Such pure good luck is only happen once in a life time… and it actually did happen to him… such godly luck caused him to die the next few days after…

He runs out of luck point in his previous life after getting the damn thing! He died because of drinking a juice for god sake! How silly is that… even a kid didn't die when they choked from drinking their milk…

Though, no matter how frantic his mind were, his expression remained calm and collected. Even a part of him were still aware of his surrounding, ready to run away if necessary.

And from that, Lion now concluded that he's now not in the same body of his previous one.

'So… this is my game character body then, I can feel the power coursing through my veins… kuuhh~ Damnit! I sound like a fucking eight grade syndrome… god that shit never leave me.'

He frowned as he thought some stupid things. After making sure of his own body condition and situation, he then continued to walk outside the broken and ruined temple, or what it seemed to be.

And even though he was feeling really familiar with the place, he still could not place his hand to remember as to where he was at. One thing for sure is that, he's not in Earth anymore and he's probably in the world of Lardia. Though, he didn't know which Kingdom or continent he was in.

After he walked outside, he then looked back toward the ruined temple. He observed it for quite a while trying to see if he could remember something from the game. Nonetheless, it was a waste of time as he still didn't remember about some ruin like temple.

There is actually a ruined temple back in the game, but the place were placed in the middle of a graveyard and not to mention that it surrounded by a swamp too.

That dirty and troublesome place is not to his liking. It was actually one of the two maps that was hated by all players. It was called [Death Swamp Graveyard] and [Sky Burial], the first one give the players a very bad buff that almost seemed like a curse. It stick for two hours even when you leave the map.

That earned the game quite a lot of haters, not to mention many more ridiculous like shit that was thrown by the development team. Though, it strangely has its own charm as the game still stayed strong for 10 years after its launching.

"But it doesn't look the same like in that shit hole. So it's not that broken temple."

Lion... Or rather now Vlad Nergal, sighed as he cupped his chin with his right hand. Shaking his head in headache, he then averted his gaze from the ruin and looked around him.

As he's now outside of the temple, he now could see that he was in a very wide and massive plains, it was filled with green grass that looked quite comfortable to lay down and relax. This however, made him to frown even deeper and it was deeper than he showed inside the broken temple.

"There has never been a map like this back in the game."

He said quietly to himself. Now that was another problem he must think about. If he were to run away, then it was quite a bad place for him to be on the run. There is no place for him to hide to, there is no obstacles that could be used to hinder his pursuer… if there is one of course. It's never a bad thing to be more cautious.

As he was focusing on what he should do from here on out, he could hear a steps like sound from his left. Hearing that made him tense his body, his eyes narrowed, and his expression became stoic.

A gust of wind blew quite strongly as a figure suddenly appeared in front of him out of nowhere. As the wind blow his clothes and coat, Vlad never close his eyes. He could see that the figure that appeared were a woman in her early to mid twenties probably around 23 or more, definitely not more than 30.

However, his frown and glare were replaced by shock and a wide eyes. He recognized the woman in front of him! He was really familiar with her! Heck, he's the one who made her, so of course he recognize her!

That shock however were replaced by a frown once more! The woman that appeared in front of him. His own creation that he created using all of his desire and love… was crying with a very vexed expression.

"Master… you finally came back!"

She said with a happy yet grieved tone. Her eyes were moist and red as her tears were flowing from her eyes. Her beautiful face were stained with tears as her expression showed the pain that she probably hold back for a long time.
