11 preparation

as i leave the jade Palace, i once again see the double edged halberd and looks good, it calls to me but alas i can't even touch it. not with shifu next to me.

" you seem interested it the spirit weaver." shifu commented looking interested in what i have to say.

"thats true, it is a beautiful weapon indeed and it fits my flow." i said nodding.

"as beautiful as it is, it said that the soul weaver consumes the soul of its enemys repairing it self and becoming stronger, but that power comes at a cost, if the blade becomes stronger than its wielder then the blade will consume his soul instead.

of course it hasn't been touched in centuries, only kai the spirit warrior was able to tame such a weapon, and personally i think you are a but too ambitious." shifu said with a scuff.

"it's an interesting story, but as you said im but an apprentice for now, i will be going to vipress to talk, i hope the dragon warriors selection ceremony is successful, its a shame i won't attend it." leo then went of on his way to vipress and as he got there he heard a few voices.

"the great tigress shy? hahahaha i don't know why you stressed out you should ask to join the mission as protection." probably mantis said.

"its not that simple i just don't want to impose on him, he almost died yet he wants to fight their leader, i don't think he is re...". probably tigress said.

"shhhhhh someone is here." unknown.

i decided to knock the door, because i don't feel like having drama right now.

monkey open the door for me, they live in this old Chinese style home with 8 sections.

each section is about 5×5 meters with a mat in the middle and a wash basin.

kind of looks like a glorified prison cell if you ask me.

but nothing is more important that training for any master, material needs like money and love mean nothing unless they can help you advance in kung fu.

"oh! leonidas is here! come in buddy, it been a while how have you been? how is your training?" monkey said looking all goofy but i know under that lowkey personality is brutal warriors with strong discipline.

"stop buzzing around the guy monkey let him have a seat, pun not intended." said mantis giving a classic chuckle at his own joke.

"it's good to see you alive and well leonidas, you got us worried there for a minute." tigress said nodding.

"more like got her worried." whispered mantis to monkey but everyone picked up on it.

"Mantis!" vipress shouted and whipped her at mantis.

"hey i was just saying no need to get touchy." said mantis jumping.

"my friends please call me leo, im here for vipress shifu recommended that i go with her since thats her area of expertise." said leo folding his arms while waiting for an answer.

"ooou finally some action, when do we leave?" said vipress with a wide smile.

"tonight, and also i need a bucket of mid range poison if possible, it's time to make name for my self." said leonidas grinning.

they left immediately after they got the stuff ready.

as they both went to the cabin with the bucket of poison.

leonidas proceeded to dip his spear in the bucket over and over coating it poison, after that was done the hard part was here.

he lifted both his and dipped them in the bucket.

"stop what are you doing!" vipress wrapping around his hand and pulling it away.

"vipress i know what im doing, i can heal faster than most and I'm already immune to it so chill out please." she then slowly let go.

"thank you, although i appreciate your concern it is wasted on me, i have to make sure i have no weakness that can be exploited, no quarter that can be used against, every part of my body should be a weapon, a predators between men, a king thats stands above all, a symbol of power, hope and when all who dare oppose me look to the sky they will feel fear, depression and pain." he said as he dipped his hand in the bucket one last time.
