3 First kills

I look at the scroll in my hand and open it, a bandit party was seen behind the west mountain.

There is forest there which makes in hard for village guards to go, plus the fact that their leader a wolf seems to be a novice martial artist.

Which I plan to test my power against as a standard.

"I understand, It shall be done." I say with my deep yet soothing voice.

"make an example out of them, consider this your trail to be raised to apprentice level as it stands you are still a novice and wear white robes and to be frank white doesn't look good on a lion."

I bow down, turn around and head towards their last sighting.

I the years my personality also changed, I like to do things personally and secondly I became more prideful, like sometimes I like to look down on people but I didn't have that trait, maybe it's because I'm a lion and act on instinct?

I stopped my train of thought as I reached a place and caught a scent, I look around and notice paws and hoofs.

I start trailing with caution.

Hours later, I reach their camp they are shaping their weapons and chatting.

I count them and there are 10 of them, 2 seem to strong which is a rhino and the wolf leader.

The rhino seems to be standing at 7'5 feet tall while the wolf is around 5'10 feet.

The rhino hide is considered the strongest defence in the china kingdom, naturally that it.

And their strength is enormous, but I still want to see how ill fare against them.

I ready my self and decide to pick the outer ones first since it's basically impossible to attack and not be discovered with our animals acute hearing.

I walk towards the 2 unsuspecting guards and the moment I'm close enough my nail got a little longer.

*swipe* the first two guards fell with chunks of meat missing from their necks.

The moment they fell everyone's ears perked up.

"go check what the fuck these idiots are doing!"

The wolf leader then looks at the rhino and nod heads as they prepare.

3 guards walk behind the tent and immediately slash at them with my claw.

The first one gets slashed in the neck as he drops to the ground gurgling blood.

The second moves a little so I miss my mark and slash him across the face, but I immediately follow up with a thrust of my claw aiming for his heart.

The claw goes clean through ripping out his heart from the other side of his torso.

The third guard panics but gets shout out before I reach him.

"intru!"I swiped his neck before he could even finish but it was too late.

I take out my wooden staff and prepare, there are 5 left I should deal with the weaklings first.

They come quick and rush at me at the same time, I analyse their movement and block the top with my staff stopping a sword from hitting me and send a powerful spartan kick towards the guy with the sword send him flying backwards, he looked like he will be dazed for a few seconds as the kick knocked the air out his lungs and broke a few ribs.

I turn and move my waist dodging a spear thrust I grab the spear with my hand and rip it away from the guy and thrust it back towards his chest pinning him to the ground as blood gushes through the wound.

(kinda like matrix bullet dodge scene but with a spear through your chest)

My spine tingles as I instinctively jump to the side, dodging a mace.

Frowning at the sight of the guy who almost smashed my head In.

I use my stick to poke his eye making him scream in the process, I then pull it and bring the staff back down on his head at full force.

"BOOM" the staff disintegrates at the force sending splinters everywhere as result the lacky wolfs head was caved in and fell to the floor twitching.

Before I can catch my bearings….

*swish*

*thump*

An arrow hit my left shoulder, I look back only to see a rhino charging me at full speed and it's already too late.

He tackles me to the dirt as I get disoriented, he grabs his gigantic axe and swing towards my torso.

Out of sheer luck I grabbed the mace next to me and block the strike.

*Clink*

Sparks fly everywhere and the swords bends a little and since his swing carried momentum my own sword cut my chest, but it was better than having the axe go unimpeded.

I smile and say to him" you should've gone for the head."
