5 Chapter 5: Day 5 - Merman
DAY 5
Everytime Ningneng and Longinus eyes met, she felt awkward as she alwayd covering her lips and cough. She then look from the faraway distance where she only saw was the vast ocean, fishes that sometimes flung themselves upward as if they were dancing and a thick fog, blue sky and clouds in this infinite horizon. . .

Lets turn back in time a bit..
On their third day, Longinus who quitely sleeping that time have awaken but later, his two cheeks became red as chilly red pepper in a mark of palm. He received multiple and awkward slap from Ningneng. Raxion who also came to test her newly created dishes and let her Oracle-sama taste it saw the horrible scene. One of her Oracle-sama's cheek swollened and has teary eye, she glare at Gin but after seing his two cheeks, she only hug her friend(Ningneng) and push Gin ouside the room, Navi also came to comfort her. After that, Gin slept ouside for the whole night. And who knows of what he did last night.
On day fourth, they actually receive some news about a Ship that will set sail to the Kingdom's boundary, the fortified City, which only takes a whole day rather than the horse drawn carriage who takes 5 whole days. Longinus went there to reserve his companions and also to sell their carriage and only carry their horse to the ship. Like that, he consumed his whole day and the fifth day came

Longinus, along with trio and their two horses is now on the wharf and was about to ride their designated ship.
"Oi Sir Longinus!" The ship captain waved at him, and his sailors raised their hand and salute towards him and do their work after that.
"Captain, you finish contacting them?" Asks by Gin whose walking towards the captain.
"Uhm! The Merman approved after my mediator told them a City Guard from the Capital are with us and you should talk to them yourself" The captain replied with nod, and so the ship sailed. Actually, this is ship is responsible for transfering Goods, in other words, a merchant ships but because of some circumstances, they're not in good position in this past few days.
"A Merman!? You mean, a half fish and half human!? Are they?!" Navi ask with sparkling eyes. As a woman who wants adventures, one of her main goal is to travel across the world and seing and communicate to another species other than human. She even wanted to draw a single map of the world and write a story in every place she went into her diary.
"Yes a Merman. They are kindhearted species, so they warned us not to travel straight towards that City and never step foot in there, or they aren't responsible for our lives." The Captain look at Navi and then to Gin.
"They will wage war at that City?" Ask by Ningneng quietly.
"If you look at the whole picture, yes" captain replied.
"But! In that City resides one of the Kingdom's Pentamagician's 'Hellfire'!" Ningneng cried out in surprise. It wasn't easy to track a Popular people nowadays, afterall Minstrels, gossipper and rumors travelled like a wind.
"That is why, they are preparing for a week now. That magician is a Fire element and contradicts Mermans who are water element. Logically speaking, they aren't in the any disadvantage because of Water which is the ocean but, that is only if they are the defender. But this time, they are the attacker" Longinus replied.
'*Sigh— That Magician is pain in the ass to dealt with. First, lets hear what mermans needed, afterall they don't attack without any reason, much less to wage war. I have to solve this or else we change course and take another 5 days of travel' He thought "Haa! That is why I'm doubting why I myself love to travel. Trevelling is so damn troublesome" He sigh again and jump towards the highest roof. His companion also disperse as their horse also accompanied by the sailor.

During the trip. Hugging his spear while half-asleep, Longinus heard a soundwave directly towards him. He opened his eyes and look towards the side of the ship and saw a Dolphin and with merman on its side who has dark green scale covering its whole skin.
Gin jumped towards the rail near the two and asks why, the merman replied "Mister, are you the Capital's Guard?" Said by merman while huffing after seing Gin's red suit.
"Uhm, I am Longinus" Gin nod and replied politely, after seing the merman with light bruises he narrowed his eyes.
"The opposing faction, the King of Sea Lion's subordinate ambushed us when we are about to meet you! Its my luck that this dolphin helped me! Sir, please ride at this dolphin and she'll guide you to our King Merman!" He said but seconds later, not far away from them, another reverse wave of multiple water came from one direction towards them like a torpedo.
"Sir! Please! I'll be your bait!" He said panickly as if he was ready to die
"And? who will guarding this ship then?" Gin asks
"...." the merman coudn't reply and lower his head
"Then watch from the sideline, I'll end this in one fell swoop". After that, sailors, and even the captain look and went toward Gin's position, hearing the commotion, the girl trio also went there to gossip and saw Gin whose standing at the taffrail, spun his spear twice as he jumped.
"I will clean this first! Captain, Open the net! This will be your biggest catch!" Gin stabs the water once, as if his spear stretched in itself like a Jingu Bang of Sun Wukong and pierce the water like a pistol bullet, it stab again and again until it multiplied like a raindrops that didn't decrease but instead becomes heavier and multiplying. The water erupted upward like someone threw a fishing dynamite bomb, the mouth of people from the ship opens wildly. As if Gin was fishing. One by one, the sea lions emerged and as if they threw themselves towards the deck as the Captain and his sailors already spread their net, and 6 sea lions fell there in confusion.
"Is that even possible?"
"He is like fishing but was using an ultimate spear. But still Amazing! The real God Fisher!"
"The epitome of a real fisherman is here!"
"Our God Fisher has emerged! He came!"
"A Red Guard Fisher is here!"
""Hooray to the Red Guard Fisher!!""
The sailors cheered as they already selfishly made a nickname for Gin after what they witnessed. The Girls trio couldn't believe of what behold between their very eyes. Their guard is like a god fisher during that time, what's more, what he caught was an Adults, and a hundreds of pounds of Sea Lions and not only one but 6 simultaneously, really unbelievable.

6 sea lions whose now tied in circle back to back looked at the people who captured them, at the same time, the sailors are equipped with pole as they wrap a knife on its tip just like a spear, and pointed towards the sea lions troupe.
"Kill them if they resists" Gin said to the sailors and jumped towards the sea as he rode the dolphin. The merman also grabbed the dolphin's body near its dorsal fin as they swam, away from the ship.
"Uncle captain! Care to explain?!" Raxion tap the Captain's shoulder with heavy thud. Gin only looked at companion and didn't spout any word before he finally left, so their last resort is to ask the captain, a man in question look at the trio with force smile and explain what really happened.
"So he will fight one of the Pentamagician? Is he looking to die!?"
"Relax missy, what he said yesterday is to solve the issue"
Navi said and the captain replied, the former followed
"Oh well. He isn't someone who is hard-headed from the start though"
"Do you think? He looks decisive for me" Raxion two hands is on her hip and replied to Navi
"Your wrong Xion!, remember from when the time that he killed the big bear and four person came? And also those 25 person who came during our lunch but was intimidated and run their tail? He didn't lift his finger, right?" Ningneng corrected Raxion but the latter retorted
"Oracle-sama it is you who didn't picture things the whole out. All he did on the former is because he was craving to eat that bear! And on the latter is because he was about to eat that time and afraid that his meal were stained with blood! All he worries is about his stomach all those times. His a glutton from skin to bone!"
'True enough' Navi approves with cough.
*Clap Clap Clap*
"Eh?" Raxion blinked at Ningneng's clap. "Im proud of you, fufufu" and was hugged "You observed him well, I'm so proud!" Ningneng whisper.
"What do you mean!"
"You've been observing him since then, from when we know him, until you cook for him, you always look at him when he was about to hunt his prey and observe his habit, know his personality well, even you only know each other for only about 5 days? I'm amazed you know!"
With Ningneng explanation, Raxion lost of track of what was Ningneng thinking, 'Is she broken?' so she thought.
'Pffft, it was you who fall for him, you idiot fufufufu' Navi thought from the sideline and sideglance at Ningneng. After she listened to Gin of what really happened that day, and those rumor from the time the Oracle was almost being kidnap inside the main City, and the Oracle's current girly attitude, she had a hunch even before they travel from that time. As if the Oracle know Gin very well since then. But she won't join the conversation and quietly listening.
"But, could he really stop the war from happening? —If the rumor is correct— oh well. Just.... Goodluck Guard-san" She murmur as she look forward where Gin went

Longinus, who sitting from dolphin's back and leaning at its dorsal calmly closed eyes as he was thinking about the trio. 'No one's gonna attack them right? Right?' He thought and sigh, all this time, what he worried are the girls trio. And for the first time, he speaks.
"Oi—" and look at the merman "this dolphin.. she's enough to accompanied me towards your King. Right?", and the merman nod in confusion
"Then, I have a favor to ask you" the merman nod again
"Guard the ship in my stead, and I'll stop this war without fail. Not bad of a deal right?" Gin said so with faint smile.
"Uhm! Understood!" as the merman look at the dolphin and said "Fina, he's in your care now, please stay safe.." and with small squeak as its reply, the merman smiled and let go of dolphin as they didn't stop moving forward. The merman also return.
With a relief, Gin can now focus of what was infront

In an Island not far away from the City of Fortress where Hellfire resides, within the seashore, Longinus and the dolphin named Fina arrived. They welcomed, or rather, almost all of merman gathered here.
After thanking the dolphin, Gin move as he was accompanied by another merman towards their king.
Their King, to Gin's surprise was too young, what's more, he doesn't covered with green scale but only normal jade skin and two fins in exchange for his ear and his gill that is positioned at the side of his troat was smaller than typical merman. He also has thin physique, if he isn't topless, he looks like a girl who isn't in her adulthood.
Beside him was the Sea Lion King, with his big physique, he can overthrow the merman King if he wanted to.
Gin only glances at him and looks at the merman King as he ask directly to the point "What is it that you wanted from that city?".
The merman King smiled at him and replied "My daughter, has been kidnapped"
"....." is Gin reply 'he already have her daughter!?' Is what he really think.
"She's at the custody of what they called himself a Hellfire. We know Hellfire is one of the Pentamagician of Kingdom. But—!" Merman King explained while trembling.
"All you wanted, is to get your daughter. Am I right?" Gin response.
"Uhm! Nothing more, nothing less! And we will quietly leave this territory If that is your desire!" He said resolutely
"Who the hell said that to you that what was our Kingdom's compensation? Is it him?" Gin pointed at the Sea lion King besides the merman King.
""..."" two Kings couldn't respond
"His men attack your mediator, messanger or whatever you called him, if you don't believe me, ask the dolphin who drop me here" Gin said as he look at Fina the dolphin.
"He's a damn threat not only to you but also to our Kingdom. If you didn't punish him thoroughly when I came back. I'll kill him myself" with killing intent, he rode at Fina as he went towards the city. He also pointed one of the merman who actually know the identity of King merman's daughter to accompanied him.
