many of the pursuers are dead somehow others escaped the massacre, still the defenders keep firing when the enemy was dead or seeing them. while they keep firing David barked out " ALRIGHT!! MEN OF THE A COMPANY MOVED OUT AND SECURED THE FIRST TRENCH" then the men of a company rushed into the first trench, then Shin and his unit went outside saw David's men digging and creating a wall of rocks, trees and mud to defend the line, however, four men carrying a box filled with mags, calibres, rifles, and also food supply. the three men gave Shin a rifle and also his rest of the unit to change their weapon system.
as David standing watching his men, working, digging up trenches, picking up dead corpses and creating strong walls to defend their weak spots, as Shin was standing holding his rifle walks in and stand beside David he asks "So, who are you and where are you from?" and David smirk and replied " Shin Oja from the Oja Empire am I correct?" this gave Shin an aware and replied " yes I am he how did you know?" David scoffed " this is not time to play 20 questions right now we're at war Shin, curiosity later, matters now". and that David shouted to his men " 16th REGIMENT!!!!" the 16th regiment turns their attention to David " the time has come to stop and seize our own demons, right now we are standing about 5,500 men include Shin's 1,040 Unit that means we're in the total about, 6,540 men!!! were standing about two enemy divisions 50,000 men in total. but don't lose hope! there's reinforcement heading this way to aid us! but we need some time to hold the enemy at bay before the reinforcement arrives on the bright side the enemy will arrive anytime here in this plateau" as he points his finger on the entrance where the people followed it " as you can see there's an entrance in the middle of this circle that means we're going to circle them and some battalion to blocked their escape route, which means-" as for that Shin replied "that this place will be the named itself a 'Circle of Death' which means that-" David cuts off and said " Yes, another massacre will perform here. this will give an enemy morale low so that I am placing Shin as a command we will see this through" David looked at Shin taking his hand and gives four flares (1 blue, 1 green, 1 red and 1 black) Shin asks " what are those?" David answered, " the blue one means "S.O.S" when you fire this baby the Companies will assist that you needed to hold the line, the green one means " Victory" I know you knew what it means right? As Shin looks the flares and memories it replied " Yeah I know" they smiled but David began to speak " okay back to the explanation the red one means "Enemy On Sight" I'm not gonna explain this cause you know it and lastly black one means ' Retreat or Captured' you know what it means though". As Shin looked and cocked his gun slowly then see caliber, analyze it suddenly they heard the loud voice coming from their front view immediately get their positions nervously aiming but the others patiently waiting to reveal themselves.
After that figure came out bloodied and sweat he tried to run but an arrow struck him at the chest and suddenly numerous people were running towards them with fear and mercy in their eyes about 100 men choose to run at the place where David's 16th and Shin prepare for the attack.
On the other side
A figure was running from his life somehow he didn't know what to do but he knew that survival is the most important to stay alive, god knows what will happen or know what will happen.
Meanwhile
As David's 16th Regiment was fighting alongside with Shin and his Unit firing the advanced enemy in their positions but they got pushed back forcefully, therefore, the enemy was getting the upper hand the plateau but no sign of David however, the ammunition was running thin the enemy advancements swarming around the plateau. Shin, his unit and also David's 16th Regiment were surrounded still they keep fighting until the last man. They lost about half of their force nearly 50% of the 16th Regiment was survived, Shin's Unit survived about 30% and thanks for Jason's second-in-command sacrifice to save the battle momentum and a gunshot heard sudden violent flare appears from the middle of the fight a lot of people were looking at both inside and outside of plateau the rest of 16th Regiment moved and take their position thankfully they moved backwards the atmosphere sudden change Shin notice it and barked our " Shin Unit!!!!!" the unit from shin looked at their leader then Shin gave a signal to moved backwards but all of the 16th and Shin with his unit moved back wards until they reached the mountain pass then set the defense there.
About 35 minutes of confusion
A sudden figure appear from the canyon and they look at it but the sudden the air feels heavy when they saw him an aura comes out then all of them feel uneasy and scares to move when they looked at him a figure came out and stand beside him.
Meanwhile
As David looked down on the battlefield then said " humans were easily fear when it comes to dominating power that, makes us humans envious. That kind of power was not given but also earned hardship besides greedy men was the source of the envious. The greed creates envy and that the cycle of sin began unto this day". The sudden person stood beside David and asked: "So David, those Shin fights his own part?" David replied " down there with his men struggling with a large enemy force" but a man laughs he said "this is not a large force" David ask " what do you want to see?". Suddenly a man lifts his left finger, all of sudden the atmosphere began heavier than before, expect David and Shin that they experience this kind of situation.
On the other side.
However, Shin was thinking deeper and deeper when he was thinking " wait so, this killing intent, the aura, this kind of killing intent is so inhumane I know one person who inherited aside father is that- he widen his eye for the answer he sought after none other than his older brother. "Brother!? He was here all the time!!! Where he is!?? I must find him we need him to become a king if not father, mother, uncle and my sister. Their efforts were nothing but no I will never let their efforts in vain I must find him before the calamity will destroy our long-term peaceful kingdom will be turning into one disastrous future we cannot face in our footsteps, brother!"
On the other side
As the man looked at the battlefield he looks at the sky and makes a speech " When you wish to use your abilities for the sake of the country to what? Your family? Your life? You're so-called 'Fate' or 'Duty' or this is was all for yourself? Getting the power to control you wish to use nothing but money and dirty schemes just to get what you wanted. Weak serves the 'Strong' no a strong defend the weak, a strong serve the people, not the king but merely use not useful a king protected the people and his nation not just hiding or fleeing from it but to fight and die for it, in this era called the 'Era of Greed" spread widely into this world I swore to myself and my father's death I will wipe them out of the face of the earth. Their friends, their people, their sons, daughters, their descendants all of them, in this past decades, after I was exiled from home I traveled and explore the world experience the hardships, struggling for change but all I can see was hatred, sorrow, hope to release from darkness and desperate for change. however, none of them came so I decided to make this thing right I swore to protect the weak, followed my principles of life, creating peace and harmony, people join, fought, bled and died for peace and alas, here we are fighting to the last remnants of greedy men, judgment day has come".
David walks out of the forest and stands beside him then said:" so Kenji done with your little speech and philosophy?" suddenly laugh but a man named Kenji removed his hood revealing his red eyes, light skin, body build, green hair bangs, his clothes were liked an orange peasant bodyguard, his small traveling bag with his sword and lastly his necklace that wore around his neck.
As Kenji stare at David and smirks suddenly falls down to the cliff and David walks in then sits on where Kenji position before he falls down and said:" welcome to the land of the 'living' Kenji Oja the Paladin".
As Kenji was sliding on the cliff he smirks then release his sword from his bag jumps in and one of the rarest moments he descent and stands between them Shin's Unit with David's 16th Regiment then said to his enemy May God have mercy on your souls cause the judge will proclaim guilty " while giving them a death glare but the enemy was so afraid to do something.
