40 Threat.

On a bright moonlit night in the middle of a due est, four figures could be seen. Three of them were facing a lone boy with a staff in his hands. The air was tense as the wind blew quietly in the air, carrying the leaves along with it. Tendo saw them all activate their Byakugan's, signaling their will to fight.

Tendo: "Hiashi sent you, right? I'll send all of your heads back to him in a sack. Come, let's get this over with."

???: "Arrogant, just as the clan head described you to be. You and your mother are both embarrassments to the Hyuga Clan! You will die here!"

They all rushed towards Tendo in their gentle fist stance, pinching him in from three different sides and locking his ways of escape down at the same time. Tendo just shook his head as he saw their strategy.

Tendo: "Maybe if it was a month ago, you three would've been able to challenge me, but now..."

Tendo flicked his staff to the chin of the one that was coming straight in front of him, hitting him directly on it and sending him barreling back on the ground.

'He's fast!'

These were the last thoughts of the two that were about to hit him from each side. Tendo just leisurely moved to the side and elbowed one of them in their faces, pushing the latter back considerably. The last one was not too bad at the Gentle Fist as his attacks all flowed along very fluidly but Tendo just found an opening and delivered two powerful hits to his knees with the staff, causing him to lose his balance and fall to the ground. Tendo just flicked his staff once again and knocked him to the head sending him rolling away with heavy amounts of blood coming from him.

Tendo: "..you're all going to die."

The one that Tendo had elbowed before recovered from being stunned and was going to attack again but Tendo appeared next to him and grabbed him by his hair, throwing him towards the man that had been hit in the chin. The two of them collided and were sent back with incredible force, breaking through a few trees in the process. Tendo knew that they weren't unconscious yet but he had enough time to incapacitate the last one before they could move again. The last man was trying to get up and escape but his head injuries were preventing him from moving much. Tendo flickered to the man and hit him to the head once again with his staff, causing the man to scream in pain as more blood flowed down his head.

The man was laying on his back clutching his head and Tendo walked up to him once again, this time hitting him firmly on his legs. Pain surged through the man's body as he screamed even louder, not knowing what part of his body to hold. Tendo then used his byakugan and looked at the man's legs, inspecting his bones.

Tendo: "Oh? They're not broken yet? I guess I miscalculated on how durable you Jounin are. I apologize for my ignorance. I'll just educate myself by testing how many hits your leg bones can take before they're smashed into dust."

Tendo held the man by his hair and dragged him towards the other two who were still trying to recover from the hits. He dropped the first man and hit the two other two in their heads a few times to make sure they stay down before lining each of them up on the ground. Tendo then started hitting them on their legs with his staff, carrying a great amount of physical strength behind each swing. He ignored their screams and kept going until their legs were flat, looking like they had no bones there to begin with.

Tendo: "Sigh, I had to take out my frustrations of not being able to sleep this past month on someone but I still managed to keep them alive. Now, it's time for the finale."

He then went to the first man and put his hands over his eyes, stretching his eyelids and with a small bursting sound, his eye fell into Tendo's hands. They were all unconscious from the pain so the procedure went over very quietly as Tendo repeated the process on each of them. He then held the six eyes in his hands and absorbed each of them with his eyes closed, waiting to see the end result.

As he finished absorbing the last one, Tendo could feel something entering his eyes and bolstering them. He opened them and as soon as he did, the difference in his sight was obvious. Over the past month, since he had been absorbing natural energy so much, the distance his eyes could see was being augmented at a ridiculous rate. He finished the second Chunin Exams being able to see about 10km and before he absorbed the eyes he was able to see about 15km. Now, he knew that was almost doubled as he could now see about 25km, that was his guess.

He also wanted to try out the ability that his byakugan had gotten from its mutation but this wasn't the time. A red outline appeared on his palms and with a clean swipe, all of their heads fell off. Tendo then put all their heads in a corner and lay his hand on one of their bodies.

[Ding!]

[Three jounin killed. 90 points gained.]

'Now, focus. I just need to absorb his entire body. That's the best chance I have of upgrading the Life steal. I'll just repeat the process on the rest of them if it doesn't upgrade.'

Tendo started absorbing the man's body and not too long after, all that remained was a black robe on the ground. He repeated the process for the last two men and as soon as he finished, he got a notification.

[Ding!]

[Life steal upgraded.]

[Life steal - Merge, is now unlocked. Host will now be able to merge with nature. All of it.]

Tendo: 'Good! I just have to keep up this pace and wraith execution will be unlocked soon. But with this new ability, my stealth and versatility will be taken to a whole new degree. Now, let me take care of my errand.'

[The next morning]

Hinata woke up leisurely that morning. The sun was already out and she felt extremely well-rested. She was even smiling brightly as she had gotten a dream about Naruto where they were together. Maybe, she hoped, that one day that dream would become a reality. The first thing she did as she got out of her room is to go open the front door to enjoy some fresh air. This was her routine every morning to be exact. As she opened the door, she let out a bloodcurdling scream that almost woke up the entire clan. Hiashi and his wife bolted up right away and ran outside to Hinata, only to find her crying, pointing at the front porch. Hiashi looked at where she was pointing and when he did, the shock combined with anger on his face was evident.

On his porch were two words written in blood and at the end of the last word were three eyeless heads being stood up in a straight line. He would remember those words as he had buried them into the front of his mind. He wanted to make sure that the culprit for this paid the price. The words said:
