Tendo: "4 Palms!"
Anko tried to summon more snakes but she couldn't summon snakes fast enough as the ice from Tendo's hits had frozen and shattered the snakes that were surrounding her body.
Tendo: "8 Palms! 16 Palms! 32 Palms! Eight Trigrams: 64 Ice Palms!"
Tendo had hit most of her tenketsu and her internal organs, freezing them instantly while stopping her chakra flow. Anko could feel the ice spreading across her lungs, heart, and even her blood. She knew if she didn't find a way to get the ice out of her quickly, she might actually die. She was extremely proficient in fire release so her first thought was to use that to heat herself up and melt the ice but when she remembered her chakra flow was stopped.
Tendo: "Do you give up, Anko? I will release the Ice if you do."
Anko: "Damn! Tendo, you're lucky this is just a sparring match because I would've killed you already! But...Tch! I give up! Get this ice out of me! You owe me some dango for almost killing me! And what the hell? How do you have an Ice Release Kekkei Genkai? Only the Yuki Clan from Kirigakure is known to be born with Ice Release!"
Tendo: "I was just born with it. But about owing you, how about I take that mark off your neck instead?"
As Tendo touched Anko's shoulders and absorbed the ice chakra back into himself, she shuddered and was immediately on guard as her having a curse mark was only known to higher-ups of the ninja ranks. A ninja of this level, a genin no less, having knowledge about this could only mean two things. She stood up and stared down at Tendo, looking into his eyes intently, waiting for him to show any signs of lying.
Anko: "How do you know about my mark? Who told you about it?"
Tendo: "No one did. When I used my byakugan I saw a foreign chakra signature around your neck so I decided to investigate. And being the 'Oh so powerful and helpful sensei' that you are, I decided to help you get rid of it."
Anko: "Ha! You finally called me sensei! But don't try to butter me up you little runt. How do you even plan to remove it? It's basically impossible. The person who put this here is not one the likes of you or I should trifle with."
Tendo: "Don't worry about it. I know you want it removed but you aren't finding a solution that enables you to do so. Meet me at my apartment tonight. It will be done."
After saying that, Tendo walked off casually, leaving Anko in deep contemplation the rest in awe. But there were some that were extremely uneasy. Neji for one, was in deep thought. He then walked over to Hinata and looked at her seriously.
Neji: "Hinata, did you teach him anything?"
Hinata: "N-no i-i didn't."
Neji: "Then..how? After he fought me..."
Guy: "Neji, you fought him before? When? How did it go?"
Guy was still in awe about Tendo beating Anko. A Genin defeating a Jounin. He understood that if Anko fought seriously with all of her techniques, she would probably kill him but still, his skill is undeniable and it'll only get better. Even Asuma and Kurenai were basically reviewing the battle in their minds to see his techniques again because they knew that taijutsu style was not from the Leaf Village.
Neji: "Yes I did. It happened sometime last year. I was training a few techniques from the gentle fist in one of the training fields when he walked out towards me and just asked me to fight him. I didn't know who he was but seeing that he had the byakugan I had to ask which part of the Hyugas he was from. He said he's not from the clan but from the orphanage. I was surprised as I knew that all Hyugas in the leaf village lived in the clan, regardless of lineage."
Asuma: "He's not from the clan? So where is he from Neji? Hinata doesn't seem like she knows him either."
Neji: "Before I could ask him any more questions though, he rushed me and attacked me with that exact same taijutsu style, but he wasn't as good with it as he is now. I fought him with the gentle fist but I couldn't even hit him as his taijutsu was silent, I couldn't hear anything so that I can counter his attacks. It was fast, fluid, and deadly but it still seemed like he was holding back something. It seemed the same way in this match too. As we fought I noticed his style started to change into the Gentle Fist. Slowly but surely he was copying my moves but when he attacked with the style it was very different from mine."
Lee: "Copying a whole taijutsu style while fighting against it? What a prodigy! It looks like I have to work even harder to be the best!"
Neji: "Yes Lee, it seemed like he was adopting the style while changing it into his own as he went along. His 'Gentle Fist' was anything but Gentle. It was extremely aggressive and brutal, every attack he threw looked like it was aimed to kill. After defeating every technique I threw at him, he then turned around and left like nothing happened. I didn't know he could get this good in such a short time to defeat a Jounin. That's why I called him arrogant."
Kurenai: "Well considering that he learned two of the strongest Gentle Fist techniques on his own without any adult help I would say he is a genius. Also, implementing nature transformation into the Gentle Fist is Genius but the Chakra Control needed for such a technique to be used must at an extremely high level."
Anko: "You're right. Combine that with Ice Release and you've got quite the deadly character on your hands. Good thing im his personal teacher though! My student could defeat all of yours without breaking a sweat!"
She walked away proudly as she said this, head held high, and her steps wide. In everyone else's mind, she was just trying to put on a front because she lost to a Genin."
Guy: "Didn't she just lose to him too?"
[That night]
In Tendo's room stood three people. One of them had on red and white robes and the other was Anko.
Anko: "Tendo, greet your hokage!"
