1 The Birth

Tiara breath nervously.

"Mike, what...what if our baby don't make it? I mean...it's...it's the second time I will have a caesarian, and...the fetal membrane already-..."

"Shhh...it's okay, Tia, our baby will be fine, he is a strong one, I know he will make it, believe me, honey."

"Mrs. Ocean, it is your time."

Her doctor, Dr. Leon, call her.

Tia is more nervous. She grips her husband's hand tightly, cold sweats pour from her forehead.

"Mike, I think I'm not ready-..."

"Shhh...relax, honey, you must do it, you don't want to risk our baby's life, right?"

"He has a risk to be poisoned by the fetal membrane now, if you-..."

"Okay, okay, don't continue that sentence, it make me more nervous and afraid, I will do it, for our strong baby."

"That's my girl!"

"I'm not girl anymore, Mike! Don't you remember our dearest Lily? Hmm?"

Tia wiggle her eyebrows while smile lightly.

"Oh, yeah! I forgot!"

Mike put his hand on his chest, mock his surprise, before eventually grab her wife's hand and kiss it a few times.

"I'm so sorry, my honey, I'm so sorry."

Mike continue to kiss Tia's hands whose now laugh at his husband's childishness behaviour.

"Ahem! I'm so sorry to interrupt, but it's time Mrs. Ocean, are you ready?

Dr. Leon announce again, while approach them with a smile.

Mrs. Ocean is his favorite patient, of course Mr. Ocean too, they are the perfect couple.

Seems that they are never fight, always make the serious situation lightly, maybe because they don't want to be the depress parents if something bad happen to their unborn child.

This is the second time Mrs. Ocean have a caesarian operation.

It was because her fetal membrane broke about 16 or 17 hours ago, but along that time she hadn't experience the contraction, even a little bit.

Although the doctor already give her the induction ( it's like the medicine that stimulate the contraction ), the result still unchange, Tiara still not experience the contraction, that's why she must have a caesarian operation, and soon.

The doctor afraid if the operation not started as soon as possible, the baby might be poisoned by the feral membrane, and it will dangers the baby's life.

"Yes, yes, I'm ready, doctor."

"Okay then, come on."

Dr. Leon gesture to the two nurses, and in a second, the bed where Tia lays wheeled to the operation's room.

Tia grip his husband's again.

"Mike! Mike! I'm scared."

Tears start to stream down Tiara's face.

"It's okay, honey, you will be okay, the baby will be okay, and I'm here for you."

When they reach the room, the doctor told Mike to wait in the outside room.

"But, Doc, I want to be with her, I want to-..."

"I know, but the procedure still valid, you can't come in, you know that, right?"

"I know, but this is different, I-..."

"Relax, Mr. Ocean, your wife and your baby are in the good hands, trust me."

Dr. Leon give him a reassure smile.

"Okay, okay, I trust you, Doc, just give them back healthy, okay."

Dr. Leon smile again while raise his thumb up, before walk in the room, and close the door.

Mike sit on the chair nearby, sigh heavily.

This time the operation really different than when Tiara deliver their first child, Lily.

That time they just checking up about the baby, but coincidentally, while Tia take a pee, there was a brown stain in her underwear, whereas the due time of her birth still a few weeks later.

So, they consult that condition to Dr. Leon, but he suggest to just wait until the due date arrive, beside, that time Tiara hadn't experience the contraction yet.

But after they discuss it again, they decided to just deliver the baby right then, that's the first caesarian operation for Tiara, and then...viola! Their first child was born, Lily.

Talk about Lily, Mike remember that she is now in their best friends's house, Nino, you know about the kid not allowed in the hospital, right? That's why.

And Mike also remember, when Lily ready to be delivered.

He and Tiara hope that Lily was born beauty, look a like Dr. Leon, yes, Dr. Leon is handsome, kind, gentle and bla bla bla.

Even that time Mike felt so jealous of him, because of how Tiara talk about the doctor.

But now, he just felt stupid to jealous, even now he hope again, that his baby boy ( yes, he will have a baby boy ), will be born handsome, look alike Dr. Leon too, and he chuckle at that.

Some time later, the sound of cry heard from the operation room.

Mike jump up frantically, half walk-half run to the room, of course still outside.

And he saw pass the half-glass door, the doctor hold a baby, before give him to a nearby nurse to clean him over.

The happy feeling spread more, he have a baby boy! A handsome baby boy!

Lily must be happy to have a handsome baby brother, whose look alike Dr. Leon, her favorite doctor!

And Mike already have a name for their baby boy. He will name him Leo, after the name of Dr. Leon.
