That word stuck his heart, dwindling to the very depths of his mind. As the two walked together they heard the murmuring of the people, the sound of a train station, a cute dog barkly meekly as it was played with a young owner.

Itogami Island is a man-made city which is connected and built with gigantic floating-type structures that are known as giga-floats designed by Senra Itogami, created with carbon fiber, resin, metal, and magic as a habitat for demons. It's total area is about a hundred and eighty square kilometers, holding a total population of around five hundred sixty thousand. Through the eyes of the administrative division, it is called Tokyo Metropolitan Itogami City, but in actuality it is a special administrative region that holds an independent political system.

Two people who seemed foreigner as their features were different than the majority of the people, it was quite obvious as the two stood taller than the others.

"Family...huh?" The young man muttered to himself, he is exceptionally good looking with a pair of golden eyes. His hair is black as midnight fluttering to his neck, his apathetic expression could be seen by a lot of people from afar.

"That's right Rei, family always comes first in the priority list of our lives. Anyone would rather exchange everything they had to protect it, even mighty Progenitors loved their childrens to the very bottom of their heart. " He responded to the young man with a sweet smile.

"Family is the compass that guides us.They are the inspiration to reach great heights,and our comfort when we occasionally falter." He added.

His hair is colored in western blonde, his height is towering, standing around six foot seven inches, average japanese people were a foot shorter than him.

He is Tony Ardolf, a powerful american overlord who rules most of the cities in Northern America, the creator of 780 named Kizuna Rei.

780 who just recently named 'Kizuna Rei' was silent hearing his teachings. He was named that way because he requested it, not wanting other people to name him. It's quite shameful to be named by the people who made you a tool right? They were shocked when he chose a japanese name but after explaining to them that it sounds good, they didn't mind him anymore.

They have the power to control him, so what's the difference between having a european, japanese or african name for him? 

Tony halted his step as he looked at Kizuna." So would you help your father when he needs it?"

"Yes I am willing to help you, father." Kizuna immediately said, assuring his loyalty to his creator.

Being born in this chaotic world, Kizuna diligently obeyed every command to him. Such as combat training, medicinal field, magic exploring, cyber education and of course.. his responsibilities.

Being Homunculus he was designed to become a tool made to serve his master, that was all his purpose. 

Kizuna knew that very well, he was already aware of the situation before him. Living 45 years on Earth gave him sense and rationality, his instincts alone told him that these people were lying and intentionally wanted to use him.

They attacked him after he was born, that was obvious that they were going to be hostile if he was useless.

'Family? What kind of bullshit is that?' He laughed,looking at the transparent bar in front of him.

A week ago, he just got this system when he was about to sleep. After experiments he observed that it wasn't his innate power, the only powers he had is [Emperor Rhododactylos] after rebirth.

Emperor Rhododactylos is like Astarte, familiar but more powerful, Kizuna E.R couldn't only become a physical form and absorbs magic.

It can form any shapes, swords, shields, wings and different kinds of weapons. The more terrifying is, it can suck life force directly without making the enemies offensive. In comparison, Kizuna can crush Astarte in just a mere second because of it's raw power, magical capacity, and durability surpasses modern technology.

But Kizuna hadn't planned doing that, he wanted to keep Astarte as one of his toys after breaking the shackles of Tony and Dr. Escovich.

Heal is one of his terrifying powers, he also remembered the stuff he watched many years ago called Redo of Healer. He can copy moves to his own, heal people, read memories, and integrate battle experience.

All of his powers were tested in secret taking advantage of Tony's carefree manner. 

The last thing is system stat points, he realized that his stat roses up, whenever he learns something new. If he train his physical Strength his Str stat would rise in number, if he learns new knowledge his MP and INT will increase.

Kizuna requested a short vacation in Itogami Island because of a purpose. Of course because of Tony's vigilance he accompanied him, disguising it that he wanted them to have a bonding as father and son right? but in reality his motive was to observe him.

Kizuna wanted to check the timeline, after traveling to different places he was awed by the man made island, this place was sure top notch. Afterall he missed this kind of peace back on Earth, that zombie virus fucks his life and gave him opportunity to rapee and torture others hehe.

It gives him the conclusion that the season 1 hasn't started yet, Avrora Florestina was surely dead or perhaps her soul merged with Akatsuki Kojou.

The world already knew about it, Kizuna wanted to target someone. Someone that might be very useful in the future, a waifu called…. Aiba Asagi.

A bright tangerine emitting from the sun, as the rays of it reach the very corner of the town. It's so beautiful, this kind of sunset was giving warm peace to everyone, righteousness, friendship and love.

Itogami island was surely a home for everyone, especially when a beauty was walking at the park with an adorable rage expression.

'Damn. that stupid Kojou!' 

A fair skinned high-school girl with waist length dyed strawberry blonde hair. She is wearing 'Saikai Academy' uniform, a school filled with different races but no discrimination which is really surprising to co-exist. 

She was engulfed with emotions because her longtime friend and a crush, would only look for her when he needs help for exams and activities.

I didn't take too long before Asagi noticed a meek sound, she turned her gaze looking behind her.

"Too cute!" she exclaimed, her mood lightened a bit. 

She wanted to rush at the kitten but her attempts ceased when she saw a man, rather a young man. 

The strange young man looked different, as golden eyes gazing gently at the cat, his face was defined with a common black hair flowing shortly. 'He is tall..taller than Motoki?' That is a fact, this mysterious guy caught her attention just by simply looking at him gave her nostalgic feelings, as if this person knows her too well.

"Uhm.. miss do you need something?"

Hearing these words, Asagi snapped back immediately as she yelped, her face was embarrassed as this situation has not happened to her before.

"N-no! it's just that the cat is too cute so.." She replied unrehearsed. 

"This cat. she is a stray cat I found a while ago." Kizuna sat at the bench nearby and placed the cat into his lap. "She seemed hungry so I gave her some food, I couldn't stand seeing her in pain."

His eyes look down, grieves, pain and different emotions played fast-forwardly. His eyes were filled with different scenes, living on earth scared him. He remembered those days, people were dying due to starvation, cannibalism, murder, childrens were used as bait for evolved zombies.

But to him, that pain was just a page of his life.

"I see, I also don't like people suffering, or any beings treated badly. But here in Itogami Island, it's a good place where demons and humans live together in harmony." Asagi wasn't stupid, she couldn't read his mind but that sadness look was obvious. 

"I also dreamt of helping everyone on this Island, you see.. I was born in this place and grew up. This is my home." She smiled, it was a genuine smile.

Although that topic was a bit out of place, Asagi couldn't help herself but to express her feelings. That's what's on her mind, she tells it to the stranger too easily.

'Heroine of the canon as it's finest' Kizuna laughed inside, his evil smirk was hidden very well. 

"You… what's your name?" Kizuna chuckled, making the situation more awkward. Asagi was a bit embarrassed because she realized her speech was a bit off, but she sighed to herself seeing him laughing. 

"Aiba Asagi, a normal student of Saikai Academy" She gazed at him with a proud look. "And you?"

"Me?"

"Haa!? isn't a bit rude asking someone's name without saying yours as well?"

"It's Kizuna, Rei." 

"So Kizuna-kun, wanna eat ramen together?"

From afar, Tony was observing them quietly with his lackeys. He's doing really well because he knows the monster called "Minamiya Natsuki" a being who knows everything in Itogami Island, a guardian. 

He was sure he was at a disadvantage if a fight emerged inside of enemies territory, so he made sure not to make suspicious and hostile moves, especially when his Homunculus boy had a chance to be in danger, he is weak right now. 

He knew that his Homunculus tool was still very weak, as it lacked common knowledge, and still hasn't adapted. In other words, this weapon called "Kizuna Rei" is not fully forged yet. 

So he cannot let him die no matter what!

He was amused watching the interaction from afar, Kizuna seemed different today. In 3 weeks of his existence, he never smiled before, but with this young beautiful girl.. he did it sweetly.

Perhaps he was inlove?

It was a good way to experiment his psychological state. As if he could use it to manipulate him, and make him stronger so he could beat the other progenitors and dominate the world.

But the reality is different, he was immersed in his goal to conquer the world. The trap has been set up, Kizuna..no,780th already had a ruthless scheme against him.

Family? kinship? It's only a hindrance for someone like 'Kizuna Rei'. He was supposed to help him because he is his father? his creator? What kind of stupidity is that?

Family was only used to benefit itself, if your father or mother made you so they could milk you money when you attain a good income. Then family is useless, if they only wanted to become selfish and raised you because of a desire to use you as a tool. Then what's the point of being a family?

Kizuna itself already experienced it, he was sold by his father as a slave because he couldn't protect him against those zombie.In his past life, his father was too weak to feed him so he sold Kizuna to slavery masters, but when Kizuna rise in power as a leader of organization. 

His father ran to him like a dog, willing to lick his shoe.

"In a world full of dangers, family was just a tool for benefits, no matter what era is, humans are selfish enough to abandon their families just to ease their pain."

For example, a korean girl named ******used to become lazy, loves slacking off and playing around. Her parents didn't like that, and instead spoil her older sister because she is smart and kind. 

Why do they love her sister more instead of her?

It's simple, because they benefit from it, they have a good reputation of having that kind of daughter. They pleased themselves, satisfied their desires with a perfect good daughter like that. In that way, family was just a pillar of self interest with a mask of morality and sense of Righteousness.
