Will waded through the river's smooth water as he dropped Eddie's body and let it float downstream. He looked into the distance and saw a wall. It looked like a bridge, but it didn't have another side. The forest was abundant with fruit, but it was all mildly poisonous, and Will knew that from his animal studies.

He walked through the shaded woods, trying to stay alert because he didn't want to die like Ed. Smaller animals ran across the dark green grass and Will tried not to step on them. Squirrels, mice, and even lizards ran up the trees.

It was peaceful, Butterflies drifted in the air and Will held out his hand. One of them landed on his finger.

"Pretty, isn't it?" said someone behind Will. It was a guard. Not the same one from before, but she still had a gun to his head. She was in uniform, but the uniform had blood on it, and he didn't want to know why.

"Get down on the ground," the guard said.

Will got on his knees and held his hands up. She nearly had his hands in cuffs when he kicked her in the side of her knee! Will started running away as the lady fell down. She shot at him as he was running and got him in the back.

He fell onto the grass and nearly hit his head on a tree. The lady walked over to him and pushed the bullet into his back. Will let out a groan and squirmed under the lady's boot.

"Are you scared?" said the lady. "Yeah, your face is despicable," Will said. The lady stomped on his wound and the bullet went even further into his body.

The lady aimed at Will's head and put her finger on the trigger. "Ah, ants," said Will. He reached for his ankle and scratched it.

"Wow, you're an idiot," the lady said, as she aimed at him again and pulled the trigger.

"Crap, I'm out," said the guard as she reached for another clip.

BOOM!

Blood flew, brains flew, and smoke was in the air.

"Get up," said a female. Her voice was firm and clear, like a person speaking at the Oscars. She pulled Will up by his collar and flipped his body over face up.

His eyes were closed. "Wake up," said the lady. She had a slim hourglass frame and a hat on her head with her black ponytail seeping out of the hat; she bent down and poked his face. In her hand was a shiny Desert Eagle, and she had a black trench coat on with black leather pants. Will opened his eyes quickly because he was playing dead.

"Are you here to-"; before Will could get his words out, the lady pistol whipped him and said, "No, I'm not your archangel," said the lady.

She dragged him towards the stream, and once they got there, she grabbed him by his hair and dunked his face in the water.

"What's your name?" she said, holding him by his hair and repeatedly dunking him in the water.

"William Doe," he said unclearly. His face was drenched, and fish were floating by, slapping him in the face.

"Why are you here?" said the lady.

"Can't tell you that," said Will. He knew what was going on. Then again, he didn't.

"Tell me… now!" said the lady, aggressively dunking William's face into the water.

"I'm on the run, from the cops," said Will. "Why?" said the lady. "Just let me go and I'll tell you!" said Will. The lady reluctantly let him go and pushed him onto the grass.

Will stumbled and sat down. The lady looked him dead in the eye and said, "Talk."

Will stuttered, but it all came flowing out soon enough, "I'm running because I killed someone initially and I knew the cops didn't care about my statement. As I was running, I killed more, and I was transporting military-grade weapons. Now I'm just trying to survive and get away."

"Wow... you're so stupid," said the lady, laughing at him. "What do you mean?" he said. "You've gotten yourself in a situation that you don't even know you're in." said the lady. "Who're you?" asked Will, trying to flip the subject. "I'm a person who just came to help," said the lady.

"Yeah, but what's your name?" Will inquired.

"Jade," she said. "Like Mortal Combat?" asked Will.

"Obviously," Jade said, annoyingly.

"Wow. You're an amazing helper. And why do you have a Desert Eagle if you came to a national park?" said Will, pointing at the bruise on his cheek caused by the pistol.

"Gotta stay strapped," she said, putting the gun in the right pocket of her trench coat. "Let's bounce," she said, reaching her hand out. Will grabbed it and pulled himself up. Then everything went black.

When Will woke up, he was in a fast-moving car. There was sleek black leather, and he still had his knife. "Where am I?" Will wondered.

"Wake up, sleepyhead,"; It was Jade, and her demanding voice. "Wait. Where are we going?" Will asked.

"You'll see." said Jade. Will felt a growing pain around his eye, so he pulled the mirror in front of him down to see what it was.

When he looked in the mirror, he had an eyepatch on with a scar coming out from the edges.

"Did you cut me?" asked Will. "Yeah, it made the eyepatch more believable." said Jade, smiling. "You're insane," said Will, lost for words.

"You've killed nearly 20 people, don't talk to me." she said. "And is this even your car?" he asked her. "Noooo, it's stolen," Jade said sarcastically.

"You mean you own a Corvelee?" Will asked in disbelief.

"I get paid good money," Jade said. "What do you even do for a living?" said Will.

"I kill people," Jade said, staring into Will's eyes, but it looked like she stared into his soul. He swallowed a gallon of his own spit when he heard that. He didn't even know where they were going, and he couldn't trust this lady.

"So you're a hit woman?" William inquired. "Yeah," said Jade. He was gathering info slowly. "What was your job before this?" Jade asked. "I stocked electronics at a warehouse," said Will, trying to sound chill while he leaned on the window and looked outside.

"Booorrrrinnng," Jade said, unintrigued. "You're a weirdo," Will said. "And you're a disappointment," said Jade.

Jade didn't know the severity of that statement. Will tucked his face away and tightened his hoodie; he stared out the window and closed his eyes.

"I guess you're the weirdo," said Jade, focusing her eyes on the road.

"Mom!" said a boy. He sounded excited about something, then he went into the air and a woman came into view. "Hey Willy, are you excited about your birthday?" she said. It was morning, and the sky was grey instead of clear blue. The woman sat on the boy's bed.

"Can I have a big piece?" the boy said. "Of course you can sweetie." said the woman, picking the boy up and walking out of the room.

They walked out of the room and out onto a large balcony that overlooked a huge downstairs area. A man walked up the stairs with a gigantic cake and walked over to the woman and boy.

"Hey Willy, happy birthday!" the man said. He shook his hand through the boy's hair and then said, "Time to light up the candles!"

They all walked downstairs to a kitchen area. They placed the cake on the marble island. It had six candles on it. The man pulled a lighter out and flicked it on. The woman looked at him with a disappointed eye.

"What?" said the man. He wasn't paying attention to where he held the lighter and he dropped it. It lit his clothes on fire and he started screaming. The woman screamed, but the little boy didn't he just stared.

Then the woman turned the sink on and cupped some water in her hand. She tried to pour it on the man, but it wasn't helping. The little boy started running away because of the screaming he ran out the front door and into the rain.

He didn't look back, and he didn't know what was going on. The boy ran until he saw a police car. He waved at it and it stopped and rolled the windows down. "What's wrong, kid? Why are you out in the rain?" said the male officer. "My dad's on fire!" said the boy. "Alright, can you show me?" asked the officer. "Over there," the boy said. He pointed down a street and towards an immense house on top of a hill.

"Okay, get in, let's go look," said the officer. He drove up the hill and towards the house. The first floor was on fire. The officer spoke into his mic, "We got a 273A and a fire, send backup,"

"Look, stay in here okay," said the officer to the little boy. The little boy nodded his head and took a deep breath. The officer got out of the vehicle and ran into the house.

Some minutes later...

"Wake up!" said a woman. It was Jade, and she was on the outside of a car. She was VERY close to Will. "What? Where am I?" said Will. He looked forward and he in front of a building in a dark asphalt parking lot.

It was a nightclub.
