"yes! i win again!" your best friend jumped for joy when she beat you in a video game for the 9th time.

you sighed. "let's take a break."

"can you get me some water?" she asked and you nodded.

as you were walking to the kitchen to get water for your best friend and yourself, you felt your phone vibrate in your pocket.

you were as curious as a cat but decided to wait until after your friend gets home for you to read the text.

you quickly grabbed two glasses of water and went back to the living room where you and your friend were lazing around and playing video games.

"so, round 10 now?" your best friend smirked as she handed you the controller.

you knew you were going to lose to her again but you played anyway because you wanted to entertain her. well, if not, what was the point of inviting her over to your house?

while the both of you were aggresively pressing all the buttons to win the game, your phone kept on vibrating violently.

it distracted you and made your friend win easily against you.

"what's up with your crazy vibrating phone?" your best friend asked, obviously annoyed by it.

you shrugged as you took your phone out from your pocket and read the notifications.

'32 messages from unkwown number'

you decided to ignore it and threw your phone on the couch.

"i'm tired of this game already." you said as you put the controller down on the table in front of you. "what do you want to do now?"

"we could go get ice cream if you want." your best friend suggested. "my treat."

"yay!" you exclaimed in excitement as you hurriedly put the now empty glasses of water back into the kitchen cabinets after washing and drying it.

you made sure the house was not in a mess before heading out to the nearest provision shop with your best friend to get some ice cream.
