7 Chapter Seven

Three months went by and Jacob learn dozens of moves and gotten used to his powers. He could use to combine with his long sword. He also found out he can withstand high temperatures and very low Temps because of his powers. Mou and him fell in love but didn't let it show around the trainer. If they did, they would be taken away and given other partners.

Jacob was close to ranking to a captain level and passing levels not known to human boundaries. Then this happened to Jacob that changed his life even more.

Jacob sat on the couch in the lounge drinking some tea. When he felt something touch him on the arm. He looked behind him and a black shadow stood behind him. "are you master Jacob?" Jacob jumped back as it said that. Jacob shook his head then it spoke again. " master I came to warn you for what is about to happen." Jacob shook his head again, " you're going to fight a monster that pushes you to your limit and another will offer you power."

"Take the power for now to protect the ones you love trust this and you'll defeat him again." the shadow became more faint the vanished.

Jacob stood there soundless, word repeating in his head. " take the power, take the power, defeat him again." Jacob shook it off and then told himself he wouldn't tell Mou intelligence he had to.

That night the alarm went off and the captain ordered everyone to squad up and defend. Jacob jumped right to it grabbing Mou, his brother and Sky. They headed where everyone was going to and as they got close they could feel the energy of pure evil. Jacob drew his sword and head to the screams of the defenders. A white haired man stood in the middle.

Jacob froze then looked at Mou, "that's a vampire ain't it?" he asked. Mou shook her head then Jacob smiled then whispered. " this is what the shadow said." Jacob put his hand up and said, " hey guys move a side." The soldiers looked at Jacob then made a path for him.

" that's the msu's first male member, I hear his very strong and has insane powers. Yeah I think you're right he looks scary. Look back there that's his brother too this might be good. Yeah If their heart I think we can ease up." the soldiers said loudly. The vampire looked at him and looked happy.

Then he spoke, " good an opponent is better then I thought." Jacob smiled then put his sword down and looked at brad. " hold this brad", giving him his sword. " this guy is mine, so keep Mou back no matter what." said Jacob. Brad shook his head then moved everyone back.

Jacob got loose and flexible, then he moved in the blink of an eye. The vampire caught his kick then Jacob put more force with the other leg. Then they began to fight for real. Jumping all over the place blood from both marked the ground, cuts and scrapes covered both. Then Jacob looked at the vampire then said, " I have abilities that I've been hiding from other but my partner.

Jacob then lit his right hand on fire and turned his other steel. Then he launched off the ground shooting the vampire with fire. The vampire began to get worried and began to change a little bit. Then he told Jacob he wasn't at full power either. Then he turned into a freak of nature, like a bat like human creature. Then he clawed at Jacob slicing at his back and chest.

The soldiers, Mou, sky and his brother stood in horror as he continued to fight. Then Brad yelled, Brother don't let this be your first lose your stronger then that." Jacob looked down after he was clawed in the face. " you know what brother, you're right I will not let fate or this monster be where I lose." Jacob looked at the vampire then turned his whole into steel and began to spark and fire consumed his body.

Brad's eyes glowed of his brother greatness and fire. "wow can't believe sometimes that he's just human when he does that." Mou looked at brad then at her loving light in the sky.

Jacob looked so badass then he flashed across the sky and kicked the vampire hard and began to unleash his fury on him. Kick, punch kick, punch head butt. The fight turned into a bloody mess, then the vampire laid limp on the ground. Jacob took his sword from Brad and flew over to the half dead vampire. He raised the sword and then cut the head off making sure he was dead.

Jacob turned to look at the crowded and Mou she was half smiling. Then a soldier came up and he said, " good fight sir now you should rest." Jacob put his hand on the guy's shoulder, "thanks and I will."

Jacob walked over to Mou and she smiled bigger then Jacob collapsed into her shoulder. "you rest now my dear, you fought hard today." She said. Brad and sky giggled, "you need help with him Mou?" asked captain Fay. Mou said she'd love the help and both carried him to Mou's and Jacob's room.

As they looked at Jacob sleeping in his bed Fay looked up at Mou. " I guess when he told me he loved someone else it was you." Mou blushed then Fay continued. " you two make a great pair no matter how you put it. He loves you and you love him, if you need anything ask me. Because you two do so much for the unit." Mou shook her head then Fay said goodnight and left.

The whole night Mou watched over Jacob till the morning woke up. By that time Mou had fallen asleep on his chest. Jacob smiled as he patted her head softly. She moaned as he touched her and he laughed a little bit. She started to wake up and Jacob stopped. As she looked at him with her sleepy eyes he smiled his warm smile. " good Morning Mou how did you sleep?" he asked her. She smiled back, " you're very comfortable to sleep on." Jacob giggled a little bit but stopped when his ribs began to hurt.

"oh that hurt" Jacob cringed at the pain but breathed slowly. Mou got up and got him a drink then he drank it. They got him up out of bed and he began to walk around. As he walked to the training room then trainer was waiting.

"so you got hurt from the battle didn't you?" She said with a hard voice. Jacob looked at her with anger, " yes I did, he was stronger than I expected." Jacob looked down and then told the trainer and Mou what he should of told them.

" hours before I fought battle a shadow came to me. It called me master and then warned me of the battle. I didn't think it would come so fast but it did. I was on the verge of losing as he said but then. Then my brother reminded me that I can make my own fate and I made myself fight." Jacob breathed a little harder then Mou spoke to him.

" you have more power then you think you do. You proved that but what did it tell you after the warnings?" She asked. Jacob looked up then said, "it told me a person will give me great power and that I need to accept it."

The Trainer was puzzled by the power, maybe it meant turning you into a monster of some kind, she thought. Jacob knew what the trainer was thinking. " a monster of some kind. " he said out loud.

They stopped talking about it and the trainer gave them both the next two days off till Jacob recovered from the battle. As they walked back to then room Jacob felt something touch him again like when the shadow came. He turned and saw a man with a top hat.

Mou jumped behind him and he was ready to fight hurt. Then the guy said, " you're Jacob right, my name is oroku and I'm a wizard from a far away land Pleased to meet you." Jacob looked back at Mou "it's ok it's the guy the shadow spoke of." Jacob said.

The guy then spoke again, " I have heard you battled a vampire and lost." Jacob smiled " nope your info was wrong I won that fight but got hurt". The looked mad but then said, " no matter I've come here to give you more power." Jacob looked at him then said, only if can tell me if it will affect my life in the bad kind."

"Yes that we'll you can choose up to four monster races from vampire, fairies, were beast, or the demon. You can't not pick because of the next foe. This one is ten times stronger then the vampire and is part of a large group called the ascension. They kill those who affect their human annihilation plans."

Mou told him to pick her race but Jacob wasn't sure. She wasn't as strong as he was and he needed more elemental booster. " I choose the demon wizard." he said. Mou looked at him then he told her the demon has great elemental boosting powers. Then he told her not to worry about him he won't change all that much. She held his hand and then the wizard bowed his head.

"osa demonoca sinkda transform" the wizard chatted the word and Jacob was lifted up into the air. Dark and light passed through his body then a huge flash and then a loud crack. Smoke and fog filled the room and Mou watched Jacob change.

Scales grow over his flesh and horns grow on his head into a crown. As it began to stop Jacob dropped to the ground. Then he began to stand up and he had his eyes closed. Mou got close and felt him. He was still soft like if he was still human. Then he opened his eyes, they were glowing a bright blue and a Diamond pupil sat in the eye.

Then he spoke with his own original voice. "I feel very very strong as if I increased in power a thousand times over. Thank you old man I shall repay you by defeating the enemy." The wizard bowed his head again, " you'll get stronger every time you recover and you'll heal as if you never got hurt. But be warned you will have your human stamina and you can turn the power off at will. Just think about your elemental powers."
