Mia's POV

 It was a Saturday today. I was done with all my homework. I did not receive much of it today so my evening was free. I decided to text Noah, hoping he was free.

HC: Hi

I instantly got his reply.

IS: Hi

HC: Were you sitting beside your phone waiting for my message? Your reply was immediate.

IS: I was just scrolling through the news feed. Although I did wait.

HC: Anyways. I am done with my homework and I am bored.

IS: Okay. Let's play 20 questions. I'll ask. How did you find me?

HC: Quick Adds. I had decided that I will the first account that appeared.

IS: I see. So I was the lucky one.

HC: Yes. Do you think I am some 40-year-old talking to you at the moment?

IS: Even if you are I don't mind. I just need someone I can talk to freely. That's it. So do you have any siblings?

HC: No. I am the only child. What about you?

IS: I do. I have a sister in California.

HC: Really? I live there.

IS: Oh! I live in Canada.

HC: I'll visit you someday.

IS: Sure. I will be visiting California in a month or two.

HC: Really? Free feel to contact me if lost.

IS: Why not.

Our text went on for hours and hours. Without me realising, the clock struck 1 in the morning. I have never texted to anyone in my life for so long. I was finally finding someone that I could be comfortable with. Let's hope for it to be this way.
