Arei chuckled when the inn came into view. Jos's nose was snarled, and distaste was evident in the downward turn of her lips. "I didn't care much for this place either, Kitten, but I have something to pick up in the market tomorrow morning, and then we can be on our way. I believe you'll enjoy the next island I have to show you. It will be about a day, day and half by boat so we'll both need to get our rest."
Her eyes rolled toward the starry heavens above. "I believe I'd much prefer sleeping under a bolder than in that wretched place." She gave an over exaggerated shudder.
He laughed harder this time. "You, Love, have taken to acting far too well of late." he teased.
