Ken, Hima, and Serena walked Geale to the bus station. A small crowd of tourists and locals were along the waiting area, seated with their friends and family and waiting for their bus to arrive.
"That bay there has the bus headed for the island," Ken said, pointing at an empty space at the far end of the station. "The other bays are for buses transporting people in the far south of the capital. You can purchase your ticket at the booth right there," he continued, pointing at a building.
"You boys head to the counter to buy Geale's ticket. Serena and I will check out the food stalls," Hima said before taking Serena with her to the other side of the station where an array of snack shops were.
Ken smiled. "She's really perceptive."
"Hima?" Geale asked.
Ken turned to him. "Let's buy your ticket first."
Thankfully, there was only a short line to the ticket counter. Geale secured his ticket in a few minutes. Ken led him to the waiting area of the bus headed for the island.
