A blood red eye appeared in the air and flew towards Xeri.

"Thank you voice." Xeri thanked the voice then went to grab the eye.

The eye glowed a bright red and slipped through Xeri's hand and stopped just above his normal eyes.

*DONT DISAPPOINT ME NOW HMM*

"AHHHHH!!!" Xeri screamed as he slowed fused with the eye.

Xeri kept screaming in pain as he was merging with the eye.

"Ahhh it feels like all my blood is getting sucked up, like all my muscles rot and regrow in a perpetual cycle, Ahhh my soul is burning!!!"

Even though this was a world of only souls the body contains the soul so of course when the souls feels pain the way to imagine it would be like a body.

A few weeks later

Xeri is now in a comatose state.

*THIS IS STRANGE, IT IS TAKING LONGER THAN USUAL?*

Slowly Xeri's soul turned red and then slowly black, then white again as a soul would normally look.

*HMM*

Just then from Xeri's body, a red light shot up from his body and a phantom image of a many different animals all appeared.

*THE KING SHALL BE YOU*

The voice spoke with respect and took a deep glance at Xeri.

*WAS THIS THE RIGHT CHOICE? PROVE ME RIGHT XERI, AS YOU RISE IN THE WORLD*

Xeri opened his eyes, which seem to have a red glow that was there but was not there at the same time.

" Voice, what was that eye thing? My soul feels weak and heavy" Xeri spoke with difficulty.

* YOU WILL GET USED TO IT, THAT EYE IS SOMETHING I FOUND LONG LONG AGO WHILE I STILL HAD A BODY, EVEN I DO NOT KNOW WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO YOU*

"So you mean to say that I could've died in here because of that eye?? What would've happened to Nikti?? Xeri glared at the void with a murderous glance.

*he seems to be able to sense my souls albeit barely*

Xeri got up and as he did he felt like he would collapse anytime soon. If he had his body he would be on one knee with his hands on the ground and knee.

* XERI DO NOT OVERUSE YOUR SOUL I WILL TRANSPORT YOU TO THE NEW WORLD SOON*

Hearing this Xeri got excited. He was tired of the senseless war of his last world, sure it was fun being demon king but he only got that position because he was the strongest, he wasn't even a devil either.

" What is this new world called then voice?" Xeri asked as he peered into the void.

*THAT SHALL BE FOR YOU TO FIND OUT*

"This damn voice, not even gonna tell me any background information!" Xeri thought in his head as he look calmly towards the voice.

*sigh* " Just take me there now I'm tired being in soul form, I feel like I'm about to pass out." Xeri said as his breathing was slightly shaking.

*THATS THE FUN PART PASS OUT AND YOU WILL BE REINCARNATED*

Xeri felt the urge to kill this voice but he knew he couldn't. " so you're telling me I could've reincarnation anytime I wanted to right?" Xeri asked.

*CORRECT*

" THIS VOICE!!!" Xeri thought in anger.

"Oh right I never got your name voice?!" Xeri asked after calming down.

* MY NAME IS IRRELEVANT TO YOU NOW SLEEP*

Xeri felt like he was about to lose control of his body. "You damn voice, damnit I better be able to see Nikti on the other side." Xeri yelled out before his soul collapsed on the floor and turned into white dust that traveled to wherever.

* XERI HUH? I HOPE TO BE ABLE TO SEE YOU SOMEDAY FACE TO FACE AND NOT IN THIS BLANK VOID*

* THE EYE I FOUND AGES AGO HAS FOUND ITS OWNER, NOW I WONDER WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE WORLD OF CULTIVATORS HEHE*

The voice slowly faded into the abyss as this space suddenly trembled and cracked apart like a broken mirror.

What remained was the very mountain that Nikti and Xeri were fighting on. In the pit was blood red broken armor and a broken spear. Just outside the pit was a white veil as well as a strand of silver hair which seem to be moving towards the spear.

The spear was eventually touched by the hair and the unbelievable happened. The spear was enveloped by a purple light and disappeared with the silver hair slowly fixing the spear.
