1 Demon King Vs Arch Goddess

On a mountain a certain figure could be seen waiting patiently.

"Sorry to make you wait Demon King Xeri." A angelic figure descended towards Xeri.

"Please Arch Goddess Nikti, no need for formalities, just call me Xeri like it was in the past." Xeri said with a tinge of emotion.

Xeri waved his hand and a table appeared. "Come sit, let's talk." Xeri then sat down and with another wave of his hand two cups and a teapot appeared.

Nikti floated towards the chair and eventually sat down. " Why did you call me here? Was it just to drink tea? I highly doubt it Xeri." Said Nikti as she poured herself some tea and drank it.

" HaHaHa, what if it was just that!" Nikti face twitched but resumed its previous angelic look. " I'm only kidding, c'mon can't you take a joke?"

Nikti faintly smiled " Well I do appreciate your kind gesture of tea, it reminds me of back then." Nikti said with a rarely shown smile. If someone who knew her saw this they would surely be surprised.

"Nikti, I'm gonna be honest with you, I need you gods to surrender and stop all this bloodshed." With a glare Xeri spoke.

"Why should we surrender? Why can't you demons surrender?" Nikti also gave a cold glance at Xeri

*sigh* " I knew it would come to this, I'm sorry Nikti." As Xeri finished his sentence a terrifying light exploded from his eyes and a spear appeared beside him. A streak shot out and was about to land on Nikti.

" C'mon Xeri you should know sneak attacks won't work on me, if you think my heavenly eyes won't be able to see it then you disappoint me." Nikti said in a relaxed manner as she blocked the attack.

" I know that." Xeri scoffed, " I think it's time to settle this, even when we were kids we couldn't settle the score between us."

"Very well Xeri, I shall play your game." Nikti then floated up and wings grew from her back, her hair turned silver and she radiated a crushing pressure against the world itself.

Xeri seeing this knew it wouldn't be easy. " Very well I too shall go all out from the start!" Xeri dropped down and then jerked up and grew armor around his body, his spear turned blood red, as Xeri tilts his head to look at Nikti a blood red helmet appeared and he leapt towards Nikti.

On this day the world shook and was very much about to crumble.

"What is going on?? Are you going to die??" Everywhere mortals asked this but no answer was found.

Back on the mountain.

A huge pit in the ground could be seen as could a blinding light coming from above.

"Demon King Xeri, you can not beat me just give up!" Nikti commanded.

*sigh* "I already knew that, at least I tried right? Haha." Xeri spoke with reluctance.

"Considering our past friendship I'll spare you if you surrender." Nikti tried to convince Xeri.

"You should know that's not happening." Xeri smirked and then coughed up blood. His spear was broken, his armor broken but his determination was ever burning.

"Then say your last words Demon King Xeri, and Bestfriend of I Arch Goddess Nikti!!" Nikti yelled as she charged forth.

*Hmph* "PLANE REINCARNATION" Yelled Xeri as he clasped his hands together.

A blazing purple light engulfed both Demon King Xeri and Arch Goddess Nikti.

At both the demon kings palace and the gods castle in the sky, chaos was running amok.

"We lost him/her!!" Was what could be heard everywhere.

Waking up Nikti looked around only to see nothing but the abyss. "Xeri!!!! What did you do!?!"

*cough* " quiet down will you Nikti? Relax I can't hurt you nor can you hurt me." Xeri lied down on the ground quiet a bit always from Nikti.

"Where are we Xeri?" Nikti questioned angrily.

"Hehe, wouldn't you like to know." Xeri said sarcastically, still looking towards the void.

"Tell me now or I'll..." at that moment Nikti tried to use her power but nothing happened. Shock appeared on her face. " What have you done?!" Fear, and shock emerged on her face.

"Heh, have you not realized? This isn't the physical world, more exactly it's the world between worlds where only the soul can exist." Xeri got up and turned towards Nikti.

"I have successfully completed a new magic that allows me to be transported to another universe, it was supposed to be just me but somehow you came with me. Even I'm not sure where we are headed though so brace yourself we are about to arrive."

Nikti then turned around and saw a blinding white light in front of them both. " Xeri, I hope to see you again." With that, Nikti disappeared leaving Xeri alone.

*sigh* "I do too, I do too my old friend." Xeri spoke with emotion.

*ARE YOU DONE?* a voice spoke.
