46 Chapter 44-Trick or treat

Earth POV:

Wu and I are now walking on the dirt road leading to Gama Capital City, or for short, GCC. All around us are farming fields full of weird and unknown fruits and vegetables, making my eyes sparkle with interest as I was examining them.

"Wu! Look! What is this?"

I kept asking him about every new discovery I made, since I didn't have time to stop and look the information in the book Wu gave me back at his village.

"This is Hasa, a vegetable mainly used for salads."

I nodded my head enthusiastically at him as he carefully explained about each vegetable.

"And over there! What is that?"

"This is Gezer, a vegetable that grows underground and is very good for the eyes."

This has been going on for the last two hours, ever since we left Leas Town. I was asking questions, and Wu was answering to them with a smile on his face, looking content.

"Oh! I see, I see.... By the way-"

I once again turned to look at Wu, this time with a troubled look on my face, making him tilt his head to the side in question.

"Are you ok with me asking you questions non-stop like this? Aren't you annoyed?"

When we left Leas Town, it was already the afternoon, after a whole day of activities. To say that after two more hours of walking I, myself, wasn't tired, would be a lie, and Wu should be in around the same condition as I am. Despite of the situation, I have been bombarding him with my questions non-stop. If it were me, I would have already snapped at myself hours ago.

"Normally I would've already been extremely annoyed, if someone else was asking me that many questions without a stop."

He replied honestly to my question.

"I see... So I am annoying you..."

I said. I lowered my head in guilt when all of a sudden Wu grabbed my hand, holding it in his big and warm palm. I lifted back my head, looking at him in surprise.

"What are you-? Aren't you annoyed with me?"

Wu just smiled at me. I could almost see the love and affection he held in his green eyes, as he was looking at me, making my face to slightly heat-up. The slight breeze that was playing with his now hazelnut colored hair, tied up in a ponytail, and the light from the now setting sun, reflecting her golden colors on Wu, created an unimaginably beautiful image. Combined with the gentle smile on his lips, I felt my heart skip a beat or two. I couldn't stand the shame, being stared at that much, so when I began blushing, I finally broke the silence.

"What?"

Wu's smile deepened as he looked at me, and finally opened his mouth.

"Nothing... I just realized how much I love you...."

And still holding my hand, he picked up his pace. I was practically being dragged behind him, becoming confused at his actions, when I saw the tip of his ears turning red. I blinked my eyes a few times, thinking it was an illusion created by the light of the setting sun, reflecting on his ears, but soon realized his ears really were burning red in color.

Is he feeling shy? That is so cute!

"Hey, Wu! Stop for a second."

I called to him, since I couldn't keep up with him anymore. He stopped on the spot, but still avoided showing me his face. I once again grew confused at his actions.

Why is he hiding his face from me? It's not like I've never seen him blush before....

"Wu?"

He didn't respond to my call.

"Honey?"

I even tried coaxing him to turn to me, but he didn't move a bit. I sighed before resulting to myself to do something I will probably regret later on.

"Hubby?"

Even though saying this made be blush red, it achieved the intended result. Wu's head snapped back at me.

"You called me hubby!"

Wu had a snaky look on his face making me cringe badly. I couldn't speak, that's just how angry I was.

"You- you!"

I almost wanted to slap him, hearing his words. Instead, I karate chopped on the top of his head.

"Owww!"

And once again.

*chop*

"Wh-why?"

He gave me a blaming look while rubbing the sore spot on his head.

"ARE YOU AN IDIOT?!?!?!WHAT THE HELL?!?!"

I raised my voice as I started hitting him with my spacial bag all over his body.

"I'm sick and tired of your quick mood changes! Can't you act like a normal person?!?! One second you are smiling, the next you are horny, and then you suddenly begin to blush or cry!! Are you a woman on her period?!"

Wu looked at me with pure shock as I kept pounding on his body in rage, venting every complaint I had towards him out. Only after a minute or so, he snapped out of his haze, grabbing my hand.

"Am I really that terrible?"

"YES!"

I could see he was doing his best not to burst out laughing, since his shoulders were shaking badly and his poker face was beginning to crack.

"You find this funny?!?! That is the last time I am calling you by that name! Wuxian Deai, you are an idiot!!!!"

I used his full name, showing him just how serious I was, and turned my back to him, returning to walk on the road.

"Ok, ok, I'm sorry! You're right, I shouldn't have tricked you! I've acknowledged my fault. I'm sorry!"

He ran after me quickly, trying to calm me down.

"Hey, I still got some leftover cake from that coffee shops in Leas Town, I'll give it to you, so please forgive me...."

I turned to look at him angrily.

"I don't like sweets!"

Once again, I turned around and stomped away, resulting myself to ignore Wu completely for the next few hours.
