17 Partial truth... Partial lie

"I work in glamour industry. I've seen many woman who are much more beautiful than you, but I won't get attracted to them. What is such thing about you that attracts me?"

Kruthika was looking at him but he was facing the ground. He broke the silence.

"You don't like me to stay here. Is that what you wanna say?", asked Abhikshith he had no intention to say this but he was out of ideas and tried to divert the conversation.

"No. I didn't mean that but.."

"But. What do you mean Kruthika? If you don't want me here I won't stay", said Abhikshith in a time of disguise.

"I didn't mean that. Leave it. Can we watch FRIENDS?", asked Kruthika trying to change the conversation.

"Kruthika please answer me. You don't like me stay here", asked Abhikshith.

"No Abhikshith. I just feel weird about you,I travelled with you in flight with a ticket I won in an offer and after one day you are my roommate. Leaving luxury and privacy, staying here with us. What made you do so? And here you won't be having fun as much as you have in Hotel", asked Kruthika, she didn't say how strange she felt everytime she looked into his eyes.

"Okay. Let me explain it to you. London is wonderful city and has many awesome locations for shooting the scenes for film. I've to pay many frequent visits here. And everytime all those expenditures on taking, food and hotel is too much for producers to bare.

I came up with an idea of staying in a home and since I won't be staying there for too long apart for my projects I asked few of my agents to find me a good sharing rental house. One among them explained about your house one girl sharing house with four men and gave your details to me. I felt it weird and intresting and agreed to this house. And thought to give it a check by myself here since even I was having some work here.

I saw you at Bangalore airport and I requested the lady at counter to offer you a ticket without revealing my identity. I thought I can give a check during the journey itself, in that way I could actually save my time. I liked your attitude and thought my decesion was correct", explained Abhikshith revealing partial truth and adding lie.

"I liked your idea that you actually thought to save some for producers. There are very less actors who think like you", said Kruthika with smile and amazement about the lie he said.

"So do you still feel weird about me?", asked Abhikshith.

"No. Now I'm thankful to God for giving us such an amazing roommate", said Kruthika.

"So can we watch FRIENDS now?", asked Abhikshith turning on TV.

"Oh sure", replied Kruthika. Both were sitting on sofa and were watching the show, eventually Abhikshith would feel Kruthika's head resting on his shoulders. He saw that Kruthika feel asleep while watching the show, he turned off the TV, moved slowly and made Kruthika lay down on sofa covering her in the blanket.

She took his hand as he covered her with blanket and planted a kiss on it, "Love you dad", said as she kissed his hand. He took his hand gently from her clutches. Why did she call him dad?

His hand watch rang as the tuned ticked 12pm. He turned it off immediately.

He did have an infatuation on her since the day he met her (as woman driver), but he eventually fell in love with her while observing her teaching yoga, learning to play violin, praying to God and while giving her recipes to aunties who came to the temple. During the flight journey when he was just looking at her and nothing else he realised it was but love.

Kruthika woke up at 6:37pm, after freshening up she went to kitchen and cooked dinner. When everyone came home they started having dinner. Everyone liked having food together discussing their day at work, night in case of Kruthika.

"Abhikshith sir, how long is your visit to London?", asked Anirudh.

"Well. More or less it might take fifteen days", said Abhikshith "and please don't call me sir. You can call me by my name. While I'm here I want to be one among you"

"You can call him Abhi for short that is how I call him", said Kruthika.

"I thought you would keep it. Anirudh give me my 20 Euros", said Sudeep.

"Are you guys again keeping bet!", said Kruthika in tone of disbelief.

"Occasionally", said Sudeep as he got his 20 Euros from Anirudh.

"On what did you keep bet?", asked Abhikshith.

"Usually Kruthika give Nick name for everyone who's name is too big. She calls me Ani, Sudeep as Deep, Hemanth as Hemu", said Anirudh.

"Isn't there a nick name for Sachin?", asked Abhikshith.

"Hopefully my name is short enough for her", said Sachin and laughed.

"Very funny. Have your dinner", said Kruthika as if she felt annoyed.

Everyone after having dinner went to the balcony, to feel the cool breeze and were listening to the music.

"Abhi, did I fell asleep on your shoulders?"asked Kruthika.

"Yes you did. Then made sleep on the sofa comfortably", answered Abhikshith while they went up since they were last ones to go she asked him.

"I'm sorry about it. I really didn't realise when I feel asleep. I'm o for the trouble that I caused you", said Kruthika.

"Hey it happens, if I was at your even I may have dozed off to on your shoulder", said Abhikshith, "Trouble! It is no trouble for me", he said to himself.

"By the way did you go for work today?", asked Kruthika.

"There wasn't much work, we were just discussing the script", said Abhikshith.

"Oh okay. Who's the actress for film?", asked Kruthika.

"It's Samara Green", answered Abhikshith as they entered the balcony.
