Prologue: A ruined world.

The sound of bells ringing echoes from way up above signaling the advent of this world's ascension.

Millions of people gather up and cheer as gods and heroes celebrate a new age but then,

Rumble.

the very earth began to open up, revealing a shrine.

The world looked at it in silence and then darkness started excreting from it slowly covering the surroundings as the look on everyone's faces slowly turned to that of confusion and fear.

Suddenly strange creatures of all sizes and appearance form on the darkness and started attacking everything.

Heroes and Gods attempt to defend the attack but try as they might, the swarm of creatures could not even be pushed back.

One by one the Heroes fall whilst the gods cower and run. Only a few chose to remain.

Those lucky managed to escape and hide while some continued fighting together with the Gods that remained.

Many people died while some poor souls got infected by the very darkness and turned to one of those creatures.

What could have been a joyous event had now been turned into something dark and twisted.

The entire world cried out as darkness envelop it.

This marks the day of the "Ruination"

Hope is bleak but perhaps one day it won't be.
