Nothing new?
Chapter I
Sun comes out everyday, nothing is new in that. That's what he always thought. Everyday was hopeless, useless and worthless. It seemed like that to him, very rarely he ever considered a day useful or worthy but he never stopped thinking that everyday is hopeless.
Leo Royale is a 17 year old, second year high schooler, average in studies, average height, pale skin, was not a stud nor was he interested in becoming one. He likes reading stories of any sort, he likes watching sports not taking part in them even though he was physically very fit, he was interested in Mangas and anime, was kind of addicted to it.
"So sleepy..."
The most usual words he uses escaped his lips, nothing new in that.
"Leo! Its a class! not your grandma's house!"
Like always his class teacher started yelling at him.
"Tch."
Like usual it annoyed Leo to the core.
"Can you not hear me, young man?"
His teacher asked him in a polite or rather in sarcastic tone.
He finally looked up with his dark orbs to see his teacher still glaring at him from where he stood, he ran his fingers through his thick, straight coal colour hair in irritation of being caught in his process of sleeping.
"Did you had a nice dream, sir?"
His class teacher asked him again with the same sarcastic tone, tapping his foot on the floor, waiting for Leo to answer.
"No sir, you were too loud to let me dream."
Leo answered in a playful manner with his ever so silly laugh.
Everyone in the class laughed at his silly remark, the teacher got even more fluster with anger, like usually.
"Stand up Leo. You have no manner!"
Leo laughed a little and stood up in his usual slow pace.
"Manners boy, Why are you sleeping in middle of the lecture?!"
"The lecture is the reason why I was sleeping."
That one sentence caused Leo to stand out of the class for a whole half hour, again it was nothing new for him.
For an anti-social guy, Leo got too much guts to make every teacher angry at him.
Being the observant guy he is, he just watched people and didn't got involved with anyone whether it is in a good way or bad, he ddidn't care anymore for anyone.
It wasn't like Leo was a depressed person for not becoming friends with anyone. He just know what kind of people are out there, that's why he thinks it is a waste of time to be their friends.
Since Leo got no friends he could have studied harder to at least be one of the top students of the class but he refused, since it will just attract more attention of fake people to him along with the attention from all the teachers and he didn't wanted to be that 'bootlicker students, that's just absurd, these were his thoughts.
"To think something new will happen is hopeless."
Leo thought out loud.
Leo skipped most of his classes after the little punishment he had, he knew the same old routine thing will be repeating if he did attend the class. He will get sleepy and try to sleep but the teacher will catch him in the process again.
He preferred not standing another hour out of the class.
Leo spend his whole day sleeping in the library, he in fact slept in, the person in charge of closing the library woke him up.
He said to himself.
"I don't think I can sleep tonight." With a yawn. "i slept too much..."
Walking the way out of the school Leo heard some voices.
"The hell do you think you are?!"
"...."
"Answer damn you little- why the hell you talked with him?!"
At hearing such things Leo sighed but followed the voices regardless, soon he reached the source of the voice.
Two girls had cornered another. The ones doing the cornering were some girls with dark skin and chestnut hair, the one being cornered had dark brown hair.
Leo hide behind a tree and observed the scene.
He thought nonchalantly.
"Another normal bully and another victim.... I bet she is not even gonna defend herself, pathetic. I'm not gonna help her, she brought this upon herself. Ok maybe I will if things got ugly."
"Do you not have a tongue, little Missy? If you're not gonna speak then imma have to force ya to speak~"
"...."
"Talk damn it! Don't make me hurt you!!"
The bully grabbed her collar and pinned her or rather banged her against the wall.
"Tch, guess I have to step in. Let me be an anti social for god's sake!"
Leo screamed in his head and came out from behind the tree but before he could do anything the girl with dark brown hair- the victim started laughing.
Both the bully and Leo looked at her confused. She slapped her hand away from her collar and said.
"You want me to speak huh? Fine I'll speak my mind and you will regret you ever talked to me."
"The fuck did you say?!"
Leo was kind of shocked at the sight but the way she said it gave Leo the urge of whistling, he tried his best not too.
"What you just heard. I talked with him just because he wanted my book to complete his homework. I don't go becoming a dog to a dude like him. Unlike you bitches I have my dignity to take care off."
The bully-girl got even more angry and grabbed her collar again.
"I'm gonna kill you!"
Leo saw this happening and he knew this was going get ugly, even though he said he will step in if it gets ugly but he didn't wanted to do that now, he want to know what this girl was going do.
"Bring it bitch."
Like every usually bitch, the bully pulled her dark brown hair.
"Do you not have any other ways of beating someone?!"
She said,
"No one touches my hair!!"
With irritation.
The dark brown haired girl head butted her in the face, making her nose and mouth bleed.
The bully girl backed away and grabbed her chin in pain and cried out. "Oh god it hurts!! It hurts!"
Even though she was the one who head butted her, her head got a little purple. The other bully took the chance and punched her in the face making her nose and lips bleed, the other bully banged her to the wall making her lose her balance.
The bully who got her face bleeding walked up to her, she raised her fist to punch her but before she could do that someone whistle in a amused manner.
"I guess that's enough ladies."
The one with the bleeding mouth asked in a bitter tone.
"Who are you? Her knight in a shining armor?"
It was Leo, he raised his eyebrows and answered her with a sly smile.
"I would be honoured if you consider me as one, so as her knight I warn you, get away from her or else.."
The other bully laughed.
"Or else What ? You are gonna hit girls? We could just turn this around on you, you know?"
Leo just smiled and raised his hand to show his smart phone.
"Oh no no. I would never hit a girl, but I could surly show this video to the principal."
The bullies hesitated to say anything. It scared her.
Leo gave a serious look.
"So kindly get the fuck out of here please."
They hesitated but left with glaring at the girl they were bullying.
After they left she spite the blood out and ran her finger through her dark brown hair and said.
"Nice safe there, even though you never used your phone in the first place."
This surprised Leo.
"How did you know?!"
"Because I saw you watching the whole damn drama from behind the tree but you never stepped in, some man you are."
She taunted him as she pulled her messy hair in a bun.
"I was just testing you."
"You are not my mom to do that, now why don't you piss off as well?"
She requested as she picked up her jet black bag from the dusty ground.
This surprised Leo even more.
"Nice way to thank someone."
"Like you did something, I could have ended that myself somehow."
"Well I saved some of your blood"
"I lose blood more then that every month."
This respond made Leo laughed.
"You have quiet lady like manners, I must say."
He said in middle of his little laugh.
"Whatever, like I said piss off."
The girl he just saved showed her back to him and left.
Leo can tell, her every 'piss off' had a "Thank you" in them, since she was
