Storm Awakens

It all started with a single picture. Just before the hurricane struck, a figure stood with hands raised and wings outstretched, the wind swirling around it like it commanded the storm. Nonhuman response teams were dispatched, and an hour later, the subject was in custody. This dangerous creature would harm human society no more. ~~~ Summer Storm has nothing left. Punished for a crime she helped to stop, with the real culprits right on her heels, she has a choice to make. Does she side with the naive humans who hate her, or does she return to the family who value lives so little? Nature clashes with the modern world as humanity begins to realize natural disasters have their reasons, and legends of old hold a kernel of truth.
