Stories to Read at Night

"I am normal, much like you. I am able to go into children's books and fight the villains. However, they are not normal villains. Angry. Hungry, Bloodthirsty villains. Sometimes the main character is the actual villain. But children don't know that now do they?" 23-year-old Fluorescent Miller was at a children's book store when she learned that she could enter the books. She also learned that the book that they put on the shelves is just a caramel-coated version. The real versions are much more gruesome. Goldilocks? They kill her and put her in the new porridge that they make. Cinderella? The sister that marries the prince has the other sisters and mother served at a later banquet as entrees. The Three Little Pigs? The wolf kills two of the brothers and makes the third one eat them; he then proceeds to rape, kill, and eat the pig. Little Red Riding Hood? The wolf eats the meat off of her bones and knocks out the hunter to do 'things' to him with her bones. Rapunzel? She was the real witch and lured princes there to grab and her hair and climb to her where she would eat them and make soup for her mother out of their bones. The list goes on and on. Her job is to make sure that the stories themselves remain in control so that they remain safe enough to stay on the shelves. But it gets worse. Not only can she go in children's books, but she can also go into adult horror books. She makes sure that the main character doesn't die so the book isn't meaningless. Including books like Slenderman and Annabelle. mainly Stephen King books. Will she make it?
