16 Video Game Creepypastas Marathon/ Part 1 Herobrine

Recently I was born in a new world in minecraft single player mode. Everything seemed normal at first when I started cutting trees and making my workbench. I started to notice something strange moving inside the dense fog, As I had a very slow computer, I was forced to play in the minimum viewing distance. At first I thought it was a cow, so I started chasing it, hoping to get some leather to make me some armor.

But it wasn't a cow. Looking at me, in front of me was a character with the original minecraft skin, but his eyes were blank. I didn't see any name above his head as if he was playing multiplayer. So I double checked to make sure he wasn't playing in that mode. The mysterious character didn't stay there for long, he stared at me for a few moments and quickly ran into the dense fog. I was curious, but he was gone.

I continued to play normally, not sure what to think. As I expanded my world I began to see some things that seemed out of place to be generated by the game's map engine was something quite strange: 2x2 tunnels inside some mountains, small pyramids of perfect proportions made of sand offshore, tree trunks without any leaves.... I was constantly tortured by the curiosity to see that mysterious player who had appeared that day in that dense fog, unfortunately I could never see him again, sometimes I tried to change the viewing distance in an attempt to find that strange character all those times without any luck.

I clicked save and went to the minecraft forums to look for a topic to see if anyone else had had this strange experience of seeing that strange character. As I didn't see any topics I decided to create my own in which I asked if anyone else had witnessed such an apparition or had had any similar experience in the game. My topic was deleted 5 minutes later. I tried again, and again my topic was deleted this time more quickly. I received a Personal Message from a user named "Herobrine" and the message contained a single word: "Stop". After seeing this I immediately wanted to check this user's profile, but I got the typical 404 error (page not found).

Sometime later I received an e-mail from another forum user. He said that the moderators could read all the messages of the forum users so we were safer using e-mails. This user swore that he had also seen this strange character and that he had a small directory of other users with similar experiences. He described the strange character he had seen in the dense fog as a normal minecraft character, but with blank eyes.

It was a whole month before I heard from this user again, he mentioned that some other players he had in his directory had gone through similar experiences to mine, but they had started an investigation about the name "Herobrine" and they found that was a username frequently used by a Swedish gamer, after gathering some more information we came to the conclusion that he was the brother of Notch the creator of minecraft. I personally sent an email to Notch, asking him if he had a brother. It took him some time but he replied with a short message:

"Hi. Look, yes I did have a younger brother, but unfortunately he is no longer with us." - Notch

I haven't seen that mysterious character that came out of the fog in that first contact again, nor have I noticed any changes in my world other than my own builds. I was able to take an image capture the first time I saw him, and this is my evidence that he is real.
