9 Chapter 9
Halle's POV
I went into my room after having breakfast with my parents , I went on to take a bath then wore a simple off shoulder tee and a pleated skirt with some sandles and I let my hair down and took my sling bag and put my phone , lip balm and some money , I checked myself one more time on the mirror and when I was satisfied I went downstairs into the lounge and watched Tv to pass time.
*5:25pm*
I went out after telling my parents I'm going out , I made my way to my black Porsche Cayenne and started the engine , then I pulled out of the driveway and headed to the market and bought small gifts for Haley and her parents , I then went to Haley's place and parked my car next to Haley's house.
I took the presents and went to the doorstep and knocked on the door and Haley opened the door.
"Hey , Halle" she said as we hugged.
"Haley" I said after pulling out.
"Come in" Haley motioned for me to come in.
Haley closed the door and led me to the dining room.
"Mom , Dad , Halle's here" Haley said.

Rose(Haley's mom) POV
I froze when I saw Halle , she is Haley's twin sister , oh gosh what am I going to do , I started panicking but I didn't show.
"Mom" Haley said and at that moment I realised that I'm about to get caught.
"Yes honey" I coughed.
I motioned for Haley and Halle to sit down , they sat on one side and Evan and I sat on the other side, I couldn't concentrate on the conversation nor dinner and Evan seemed like he didn't realise the they are twins, he never pays attention anyway.
"Rose Leonards" Evan said
"What's wrong" I asked looking at everyone.
" Nothing's wrong, you keep zoning out" Haley said
" Ohh sorry I have alot on my mind" I said and stood up "excuse me"
I went to the bathroom and wished I could die on the spot.
"No, God this can't be happening" I whispered to myself

Evan(Haley's Dad) POV
"Rose Leonards" I called Rose as she kept zoning out
"What's wrong " she said , looking at all of us
" Nothing's wrong,You keep zoning out" Haley said
"Oh sorry , I have alot on my mind" Rose said and stood up "excuse me"
"Excuse me too, lemme go check on her , you can carry on eating" I said and follow Rose behind. I got to the bathroom and I saw washing her face and she whispered something in the lines of '....this can't be happening '.
"Darling , what's wrong , you look pale" I said placing my hand on her shoulder
"You seriously telling me that you don't see what's going on in the dining room" she asked a bit pissed
"No, what's wrong Haley came with her friend Halle what's wrong with that" I said trying to figure out what she's on about
"Halle is Haley's twin sister , don't you see they look alike " Rose said fuming with anger
"Ohh shit , I didn't realise" I said worried
"You are oblivious to everthing , you wouldn't notice a dinosaur even if you tried ,someone has to tell you before you realise it" Rose said whisper yelling.
"This is some real shit" I said
"You think !!" Rose said sarcastically
"We should go back in there and pretend nothing's wrong and get through with this dinner we'll figure out what to do after or tomorrow" I said
"Sounds like a plan" Rose said
We headed back to the dining and we found them halfway through with their food and they were laughing and talking about some series , that I figured Haley likes making me watch it but it bores me so I'd always make and excuse to leave the house , when I saw Haley and Halle talking about it I've realised that they are not just twins by looks but they also like the same things and they have the same sense of fashion sense , point taken by they way they've dressed today.
"Girls what are you talking about" Rose asked sitting down
"Mom , we are talking about mermaids of Mako" Haley said with a full blast smile on her face
"Ohh , booooring" I said and Halle replied
"Mr Leonards have you watched it ? , it's the best mermaid series ever made" Halle said with a full blown smile
"Yeah , I have couple of times , and I find it boring , Haley is always forcing me to watch" I said in a bored tone
"Ohh you just don't know good stuff or maybe it's becoz your a man " Halle said trying to figure out why I find it boring
"Yeah true but as for mom , I'm disappointed really" Haley said looking at Rose
The conversation continued , it turned into an argument and to my surprise Halle and Haley won the argument and now they made a pact to themselves that Rose should watch it with em later on, when we were done eating Rose took the plates to the kitchen and Halle offered to help but as always Rose like doing it herself , so the girls went to the lounge to watch their mermaid series and I decided to go to my bedroom and take a nap.

Haley's POV
Dad said he's going to take a nap and now we are waiting for mom to finish up with cleaning then we are going to watch Mermaids of Mako an H2O adventure with mom. When mom was done with cleaning up she sat in between us and we watched 5 episodes and mom said she's tired and she's going to sleep , Haley and I decided to go to my room and play some games while we are gouging on ice cream and biscuits. When we were tired and felt sleepy , Halle texted her parents and told em she's staying the night. We then went to sleep.

2 WEEKS LATER
Haley's POV
I woke and brushed my teeth , then I went downstairs for breakfast.
"Morning Good people" I greeted my parents in a jolly mood
"Munchkin what got you so happy at this early hour and you don't wake up this early what happened , did you fall off the bed" Dad said shocked becoz firstly I don't wake up before 10am on Saturday and secondly I'm not always in this happy mood especially in the morning.
"I'm going over to Halle's place for dinner and I might sleepover" I explained my mood for the day
*Cough , cough* my mom chocked on juice
"Mom are you okay" I asked
"yes sweety I'm great , the juice just went through the wrong pipe" mom said
"Oh okay , lemme eat so I can prepare to go over to Halle's place" I said then ate my food.
