1 Chapter 1

Hi, I'm Halle Smith a reserved girl who has all her things under control and I'm 16 years old and I'm in middle school (sophomore)and live with both my parents.

"Hurry up , you'll be late for school" mom said .

"I'm coming" I shouted back , and ran down the stair like I'm being chased by a dog .

"whoa slow down honey" dad said as he catched me before I fell.

"Phh ohh sorry dad mom told me to hurry up " I said with a sheepish grin

"But she didn't say you should run like a manic , did she ? " Dad asked

"Nooo!!" I said playing with my fingers

"Devin you'll talk with her later , we late " mom said

"Oh sorry , bye honey" dad said and kissed my forehead

I ran again to the car and when I was inside , I was panting heavily and My favourite song was playing on the radio , I couldn't sing along . I pouted and I was back to my normal breathing and the song was finished . Mom dropped me off at school and rushed to work.

I walked into the school and as normal as always I went to my locker and took out book that l'll need before lunchtime and went on to find Ana, my bestiiey , I saw Ana at her locker , digging for something I decided that I'll close Ana's eyes with my hands. Ana smiled when she figured who's cold hands are distructing her .

"Gosh girl did you sleep in the freezer , your hands are damn cold and the weather is not lovely today"Ana exclaimed

"What are you looking for ?" I asked ignoring Ana's comment about my refrigerator hands

"I can't find my lucky pen" she said

"Really , you even forgot you left it at my place, stop abusing the locker I'll give it to you in class"I said and rolled my eyes

She took out a book and shut the locker , we made our way to Physical Science class as the bell rang.

Lunchtime

I made my way to the cafeteria , as I was on my way to the cafeteria , I saw student crowd near the lockers, I made my way there and found Shaquille and Jasmine fighting , I asked for the people to make way for me to get to Shaquille. Shaquille is one of the friends in my group and she's the strongest in all of six of us ,and she's Shaqiri's twin. Jasmine is one of those annoying b***s from the cheerleading team who think they can get every man they want. I reached Shaquille just before she could throw a punch at Jasmine.

"Shaquille!!..... What's wrong why are you fighting Jasmine , what did she do" I asked standing in between them.

"She made a move on Jason, and now I want to rip off the fake nails and those annoying eyelashes" she said glaring at Jasmine.

"The fuck , you did what " I said glaring at Jasmine. " Didn't we tell you he's off limits"

"But I want him" she said in a cheeky tone.

"Ohh really , lemme give him to you " Shaquille said lunging at Jasmine.

She fell to the floor and whimpered as she hit her head on the tiled floor.

"Stay within your limits , but if you can't I'll make you , understand " Shaquille said while crouching next her.

"Yes I'll stay away from him , I promise" she said in a low tone feeling ever so scared.

We left her on the floor and made our way to the cafeteria, and when they got to our table , Ana started whining.

"Where were you two" she asked looking at Shaquille ,she knows I'm never late for lunch but since I came in with Shaquille that means she delayed me.

"Had to deal with some pain in the ass" Shaquille said grinning at Ana.

"Who's the pain? and don't tell me it's Ruby" she asked

"No it's her idiot best fake friend, Jasmine"Shaquille said ,"but it's all sorted don't worry about it"

"What's wrong with the cheerleading squad" Morisa said irritated ,"they can't keep themselves away from other people's man or business but if Jasmine or any of then go near Mason , imma kill someone trust me" she said looking at the cheerleaders table.

We ate our food , forgot about what just happened and now we were listening to Kate's stupidness and our nice laughing time got cut short when the bell rang signalling that lunchtimes over.

Hi, I'm Haley Leonards I'm 16 years old , naive girl and has never been outside of the house since I was a baby , I with my parents. A/n ( who stole her from her real parents at birth and was never found till.........) ,Rose(Haley's mom) told her the outside's weather is not good for her , blah blah blah and she's been home schooled and orders everthing she wants online and sends the maid to get the parcel.

I went into the kitchen and found my mom baking her favourite chocolate cake ,my smiled at my mom (Rose) when she looked at me and she smiled back at me warmly.

"I came here to get some soda and chocolate cake" I chirped

"Okay sweety , suit yourself" mom said

I took a slice of cake and went back to my room , and sat on my desk chair , and opened my laptop and watched a series on Netflix , I doesn't normally watch Netflix on the bed coz I always ends up falling asleep, after watching 8 episodes of Blood and water , I closed the laptop and went out of my room to the kitchen but before I reached the stairs I overheard my mom and dad talking about us moving to a new city and I can start public school there , I was excited but at the same time scared , becoz Mom told me the weather is not good for me , so why are they taking me to a new city and a public school. I went downstairs the stairs and they saw me and kept quiet.

"Hey dad" , I acted oblivious to the sudden quietness

"Hey Munchkin" Evan(Haley's dad) said with a smile

I went into the kitchen and put my plate into the sink and went to the sitting room where my mom and dad were, we watched tv and Evan(Haley's dad) was making jokes there and there based on the show we are watching.

"I'm going to sleep see you tomorrow, Good night mom and dad" I said yawning

"Good night" mom and dad said

I went to sleep and so did my parents

Next Day

"Good morning family" Isaid in a jolly tone

"Good morning sunshine" Mom and Dad said awkwardly at the 'family' part knowing that I'm not related to them not even a bit.

(I didn't know that but ....) I was stolen from the hospital the day I was born , I was stolen becoz Rose gave birth to a still born child and she was heartbroken and heard that there was a woman who gave birth to twin girls , so she executed her plan , and they stole Haley and hid her in the house and never let her out of the house for the past sixteen years , they told her that the weather was not good for , and hired a fake doctor to make the story look realistic.

"Haley " Rose said to me her stolen daughter , "come here"

I went and sat down across mom and dad

"The doctor told us you are perfectly fine and we should move to a new city so that you can go to public school and you can make friends" mom said and I looked at them for a moment before reacting to the news

They thought maybe there was something that I knew but the moment I jumped up and down in a happy mood they didn't worry no more.

"That's great news , so when are we leaving" I asked eager to know

"In two days time" Dad said smiling at Haley.
