1 From Present to Past ... !!

It's Friday and all I know is I have to work. Yes, You read it right. I am 24 and working in one of the MNC leading in India. I worked so hard in the past 3 years to get into this position. I prove myself every single day to be able to perform much better.

While I am running behind my responsibilities, my whatsapp brings me a notification. It's HIM. The one guy I can't get out of my Heart and Head. No matter how busy I am, this guy brings smile on my face. But why is he texting me at 1 AM ? Is there any problem ? Is he missing me ? Within a span of 5 seconds from the notification, with all the questions in my head, I opened his message. It just said, "Hi"

Me : Hey

He : Hwau? [How are you?]

Me : Good and u?

He : Fine

****** 2 mins silence ******

Me : Hope everything is fine

He : Yes, just wanted to check if you are fine

Me : Oh, Yes am fine

He : So..., Are you attending Honey's wedding?

Me : Am not sure

He : Isn't she your best friend?

Me : Yes, But mom isn't allowing me

He : Are you 8 ? You are 24 and I thought you are independent now

Me : I am independent but I still listen to my mom. She is my main.

He : Sure but I really wish I could see you for once

Me : Are you drunk? You haven't spoken to me in like 4 years

He : Am not drunk, I missed you !!

I didn't reply after that because I know that he could make my heart week and I can't get into that situation again. After all, it took more than a year for me to become normal. I can't re-write the past in my present .
