3 New Chapters

Stepping out of the comfortable interior of the private jet into the the cold plunging weather of England, I waited for the cold to seep in. Now mid-afternoon, the degrees should be below the respectable degrees I wasn't used to.

Surprisingly I felt warm and unaffected by the weather. England weather was unpredictable, most of the days it might be cold with damp air but it could surprisingly take a turn, making it into a sunny day.

As I took my last step, I flinched, caused by my irritated skin.

After a night of celebration, the skin on my left arm following to the left side of my upper body, red angry marks had appeared. It was as if someone had drawn them, some taking up odd shapes that I couldn't figure out. The sweater that I was wearing now felt like it was teasing me, touching the reddened marks softy, making me flinch out of pain. I wanted to so desperately take it off, but that would leave me half naked.

I huffed out, out of frustration. Maybe I ate something I was allergic to. But that couldn't be right, all my life I've explored the wonders of food. I could've caught something by now.

Other than the discovery of the change in my body, some part of me also decided to change. My grey eyes seemed to be taking a hue of purple. Each passing day they got worse and worse, pleading to my auntie to explain suck drastic changes. Dark thoughts has passed through her eyes that had hardened. I was under the impression that she had an idea of what was going on with me but she only said she had no idea and pressed her lips tightly as if sealing her next words.

I had stared at them through the mirror, as they darkened and brightened as you would see the sea with different shades of blue changing in a span of seconds. The one thing that I haven't expected was for the mirror to break into a thousand peaces as if someone had blasted it. Non shreds of glass landed on me, as if a visible barrier was keeping them away, only to fall all around me. I had stood there shocked in disbelief.

Bella rushed in, obviously she had heard the sound of the cracked glass falling to the tiled floor.

Her eyes in horror and her mouth gaping.

She had looked at me, asking for an explanation with her eyes, but her own seemed to dart away as if mine where too intense.

Then I knew that it was just the beginning of something I had no idea of. And that something was included with the red marks on my body.

I had to hide from my friends behind glasses that kept my eyes consealed. I have easily told them I was following a trend that the teenagers these days seemed to keep up with. I was one, but I wasn't them.

I had spent my last few days nibbling the time I had with my friends, it was a pity they weren't supernaturals, it could've made things easier. Humans were considered a downgrade in our society, we might live among them but we were more superior. We never thought of it in a bad way, keeping things quiet from the human society was how things were. It kept an invisible balance that I never seemed to understand but I obeyed.

I signed, thinking back to Bella. She was indeed hiding secrets, but they always say that patience was the key. But what if waiting would bring unwanted, unprepared and unpredictable events. Everyone knew I was a sucker for change...

I shook my head, trying to clear my mind. I'd find a way through this some way or some how.

My mood chirped once my eyes landed on my new toy,

McLaren P1 LM, it was breathtaking that I wanted to cry.

I'm not most girls, I'm Me, and Me likes to adore ravishing cars like these. I stared in awe, it's body calling me. It's dark features more like a dark Knight horse, devilish indeed.

My mind no more controlling my legs as they steered forward towards the car.

My eyes landed on a man, who shut the trunk of the car, clearly he was to load my luggage. Another man stood by the drivers door, holding the keys to the beast.

He smiled and introduced himself, I had no means to know his name but I was being polite as I could. I nodded to whatever he was saying, that seemed to please him because he handed the keys to my monster. This man was probably from the agency that I dailed to bring the car, but at that moment all I wanted to do was to drive.

My body came to life as its roar pulsed through me, never I have admired other things such as cars.

Slipping in the adress to my destination, I drove through the streets of London towards the new chapter I was willing to start.
