1 Awakening

You know when you're asleep and you really don't wanna get up? Like just moving will take you away from the most comfortable place in the world? But there is always something that is annoying you to no end when you're in that situation? Like the sun or light? Or a noise that just won't stop?

Then you know how I feel right now. I just want all the noise to go away and let me sleep, but I can't because of the incessant beeping coming from my right. Signing, I forced my eyes open in search of where the vexing noise was coming from, looking over I saw something that just didn't make sense.

A heart monitor, yeah a freaking heart monitor understandably the beeping was getting faster at this point. Confused, I sat up. When I did so I saw something that just made the situation worse. Instead of the adult body I was a expecting to be in I was instead in a small preteen body

Why was I expecting an adult body? That thought just made it worse. Hyperventilating I struggled to get out of the bed. As I put my legs over the edge of the bed, footsteps started echoing throughout the hallway. The beeping of the heart monitor was getting faster and faster with every foot step.

As the door opened I looked over to see over to see what had to be about a dozen people rushing into the room, an old man leading the way, darkness consumed my sight.

When I woke up again, hoping that the last memory I had was a dream, the first thing I saw was the face of a kind old man. Pretty sure he was the first into the room before I passed out.

'Damn, Guess it wasn't a dream'

"Magnus, Magnus. Can you hear me? How are you feeling son, any pain anywhere?", Fussed the old man.

""Magnus? Who?"", Shock spread across the old man's face as those words left my lips.

"It's as I feared, the accident caused him some

Amnesia. The old man murmured while taking notes in a hurried manner.

"That would explain his panic attack earlier as well", As he continued to mutter and write. "We'll have to do a few small tests to see just how much of his memory he lost, but just him not knowing his name doesn't bode well."

""Excuse me but who are you? Where am I? Why are you muttering so loud?""

With an embarrassed face the old man responded. "Ah my apologies young man, My name is Doctor Ross."

Trying my best to get some information to figure out what happened and find out why what happens only in books is happening.

""Oh, well hello Doctor. Can you tell me what happened?"", Hopefully I'll get some information that will help me out.

After observing me for a few moments a thoughtful look came across his face "Actually I'm going to get your mother, she'll be able to tell you everything that happened."

Thinking he's being quiet he writes something down and mutters "this shall be test number one I'll have to talk to her about getting some people he knew or things he liked here afterwards"

""Doc?""

With the shock of embarrassment the doctor hurried to the door

Already forgetting what he muttered what he said before that popped in my head. ""M-my mother?"" WHAT!? ""I have a mother?""

Searching my memories to see if I have some from this body. Finding none I got frustrated, why are there no memories? There's always memories in the books… why do I know that?"

Before I could ask the doctor he had already left. All I could do now was hope for the best when it came to this 'mother' of his.

Rubbing my forehead ""Shit why did this have to happen to me?""
