Stereotype Simon

Stereotype! what a criminal this word is. It has ruined lives of many but this book focuses on the life of a boy named Simon. It is a story of how a boy lived in a society that was full of Stereotypes;from gender stereotypes to social to ethnic ones awell. He is shown to have changed throughout the book. When he was a child, he tried his best to be different than the rest of the men but as he adapts to the society that he is living in, his ways of dealing with things and opinions, both change. He later becomes someone just like his father and opposes his sister first, then his wife and daughter; just like his father. This book is written to show and tell others of how hurtful and life changing these stereotypes can be and how they affect the lives of others around.
