4 Not an army school

We went at the army quarters and it was the same as always. I've never saw any real home since I've been at the army quarters only and I was having no friends, I never went to any other person's home except my granny's place. I always love that place because there home is very warm and I feel very comfortable there.

There were all the army officers welcoming us by saluting my father and greeting us. We soon went to our quarter and I was shocked. There were only two rooms each with a bathroom and a living room which means that me and my brother has to be in one room. This annoyed us both and we shouted in chorus, "Dad!!, this is unfair."

Dad answered,"I am sorry kids, but I seriously didn't knew about this. I'll surely put an application for another quarter. Till then, you both have to adjust."

Rohan said in disappointment,"Fine dad we'll adjust."

Dad asked me,"Are you fine with it dear?"

"No I'm not, but still I'll manage." I replied.

"I am sorry dear but I am damn sure that you'll survive with this dinosaur." My dad encouraged me.

"Oh dad! Don't call me a dinosaur."Ro got annoyed.

We ended up talking and went on the beds to have some rest after this long journey. My brother felt asleep but I didn't because I had sleep while the taxi ride and even during the flight. I was getting bored hearing his loud snores so, I went to my parent's room. I saw mother sleeping and father scrolling down his mobile. He was also sleeping during the flight that's why I think so he's also getting bored. I went to him and whispered in his ear, "Are you also getting bored?"

"Yes"He whispered back.

"So, let's sit out in the living room."I suggested and he nodded.

"What are you searching in your mobile?"I asked him.

"A school for you and a college for your brother."He told me.

''Ooh! So which school have you decided?"

"Not yet decided. I am new here, I think that I'll be needing someone's help to decide your school."

"Okay."

We chatted for a while until my mom woke up and she gave us some snacks. Rohan also woke up and came out of our room. After eating the snacks, we all started setting up our things on their places. Me and Ro started setting up our room dad, the living room and mom, her's and dad's room. It took long to do that and after setting up all the stuff it was 7:58.

Our bell rang, dad opened the door and greeted someone, "Sanjay! Hello my friend, meeting you after a long time!"

"Yes sir, we last met at Rajasthan."Mr.Sanjay replied. I know him. He is my father's junior and he met him at Rajasthan while his posting there. He also came to our home for a dinner many years ago.

"The world is so small that's why we met again."Dad commented.

"Yeah its true. I heard that you are being transfrred here and I got surprised. Oh! Hello kids."

"Hi uncle! Nice to see you again." I greeted him and so do my brother did. He sat on the couch and started chatting with my father. His wife was also with and she was chatting with my mom. Me and Ro were listening their army talks. Suddenly, Mr.Sanjay asked dad, "So sir, where are you getting your kids an addmission?"

My dad replied,"I don't have any idea since I am new here. Will you suggest me?"

"Of course I will. Army school is best for your daughter and army college for your son."

I turned my gaze to Ro and he turned his gaze towards me and then we both turned our gazes towards with a very pitty face. We both don't like an army school or college because there are only two things there- strictness and excercise. We both excercise daily with dad at evevenings and also jog with him which we liked but not the whole day. And strictness can't be tolerated by both of us. Once we were admitted to an army school and we suffered a lot.

"Actually both of them have an army nature since their childhood and I wanted to give them an atmosphere of normal people too so, can't you suggest any private school?"Dad lied to his friend for our sake and we got saved.

"Oh! Okay so, I will search them and let you know."Mr.Sanjay agreed.
