The kid was only 16 years old, but that did not take away the fact that he was grown in experience in how to be tough. The streets had roughed him up just as hard labor hardens a worker. The kid was ready to take on anything that came his way. As he looked around the other sentenced detainees, on the slick mind you! he remembered everything he had been schooled in at the county jail house by those he would come to know as family.
