Prologue

Gabin was the son of the legendary mage and the adopted son of the golden dragon, with his little brother sixteen years ago they had killed the demon god who threatened their universe.

This demon god turned out to be the daughter of the legendary demon god and when they killed her something unexpected happened.

An unprecedented calamity had befallen their universe, many demon gods who had had their power sealed were found again free to exercise their power.

By killing this demon god they both had inherited her memory and they had learned that the legendary demon god was a sealing specialist, and that he had used the body of his own daughter to seal the power of other demon gods.

That was why when they had killed her, the seals on these demon gods were all gone with her.

After several years of facing them, the demon gods had either signed a peace treaty with them or had been wiped out.

But something else had also happened in this battle sixteen years ago.

A fourth world in the intermediate plane of existence had appeared.

His mother, the legendary mage, accidentally discovered it while she was hunting down the Hellfire dimension who had fled from Stellar when the demon god was slain.

Stellar was the only world in the higher plane of existence and to their knowledge there were only three worlds in the intermediate plane of existence.

In addition to Eben, Elementary and Inferno there was now this unknown world which they had called 'the hidden world' and which was protected by a force field that none of them had been able to break.

By gathering all the information they had in their possession at that time, they had guessed that the Hellfire dimension had returned to his original owner, the legendary demon god.

To them this hidden world was like a time bomb ready to explode at any moment.

But over the years, their distrust of this legendary demon god and this fourth world had faded to be replaced by curiosity.

Gabin and Basile's biological father, was a demon god. He had been killed by their adoptive mother the golden dragon to avenge all the suffering their mother had been through because of him.

When their father died they both had inherited his memory, and with this knowledge they had discovered that they could absorb the memory of the demon gods they would kill.

So, after absorbing the memories of the demon gods they had killed and gleaning information from those who had signed a peace treaty with them, they had found out that they were completely wrong about the legendary demon god.

Apparently this legendary demon god had not sealed their power to be able to seize it or to take control of their territory, no, he had done that because they had abused their power over innocent people.

Gabin had become more and more curious about this legendary demon god and that curiosity had changed into an obsession.

He absolutely wanted to meet him and see for himself what kind of person he really was, and he also wanted to know why he had created a force field around this world.

Of all the memories he and his brother had absorbed, and after questioning the other demon gods, they had realized that no one knew about this fourth world.

Gabin hadn't stopped annoyed his mother to try again and again to open a breach in this force field so that he could finally have the answers to his questions.

In the meantime, he had never stopped training to get stronger, he still remembered the strength of the beings that were inside the Hellfire dimension.

They were the only ones who had managed to breach his mother's most powerful shield, so in the worst case scenario if the legendary demon god turned out to be an enemy, he had to be able to face him and to face the evil creatures that were inside the Hellfire dimension.

In addition to training, when he had some free time, he spent it crafting increasingly powerful weapons.

He knew that one day or another he or his mother would grow strong enough to be able to cross that force field, and that day he wanted to be prepared for anything.

And sixteen years after that battle that had started it all, he has finally gotten this opportunity.

His mother came to see him and said seriously : "Gabin, do you still want to go to this hidden world ?"

Gabin put away his weapon he was practicing with and told her, not even trying to hide his excitement : "Did you find a way to get me across, is that right ?"

Celia, his mother, chuckled and pinched his cheek teasing him : "Look at you, so excited ! Looks like you're going to join your man after not seeing him for a long time."

Gabin said to her half-amused and half-serious : "That's indeed the feeling I have, even though he's not my man yet."

Celia gave him a tap behind his head and then said to him shaking her head helplessly : "Not yet um, be a little serious, he can be dangerous, we can't be sure, okay darling ?"

Gabin became serious again and changed the subject : "Are you really going to be able to send me there ?"

Celia nodded and confessed to him : "Yes I will be able to, but something is wrong I prefer to warn you, for a month now the force field has been losing its power.

You know what that means, don't you ? If he is really the one who put it in place, he could be seriously injured."

Gabin had turned pale and he clenched his fists before saying to his mother : "Mommy please send me over there I'm ready."

Celia looked at him still a little worried, Gabin was probably the most powerful being in this universe, he had become stronger than her and Anaya, her baby wife, and his little brother was probably the only one who could still compete with him, but this fourth world had always given her goosebumps.

However, she had no choice, they absolutely had to find out what was going on in this world, so she told him : "I will only be able to send you there, you will have to find a solution to come back on your own."

Gabin nodded, he had already suspected that it would be like that, and he was willing to take this risk so that he could finally meet him.

He was even more willing now that he might be injured and would need his help.
