11 Chapter 11

During Roland's vacation, the Archduke of the Beverly Duchy and the Queen of the Elda Kingdom had come together to make a plan against the threat that was the newly risen Phoenix Kingdom. They were, reasonably, worried of the Phoenix Kingdom invading them, so they decided to enter an alliance. They then sent invites to the alliance to other Kingdoms and Duchies, because if the strong Hildegard Kingdom could fall in one day, they would need more members and a bigger army. In the end, the alliance consisted of 7 Duchies and 3 Kingdoms. The alliance was ruled through a council, every member had 1 vote and the Chairman would get 2. Queen Emilia of the Elda Kindom was voted to become the Chairman of the Anti-Phoenix Alliance.

---Elda Royal Castle, during the first meeting of the Anti-Phoenix Alliance (3rd day of Roland's Vacation)---

"So do we attack or defend? Let's vote" Queen Emilia asked. The result was 3 votes for defend and 8 for attack.

"Alright, we'll attack. Any proposition for a plan?"

"I propose we rush to and siege the Capital, Phoenix Royal City, with the entire army." An Archduke proposed.

Emilia called for a vote again and this time the result was: 10 votes against and 1 in favor.

"Rejected. Other proposals?"

"We'll attack a small Town and force him to meet our army in an open field, I heard he doesn't have cavalry." Another Archduke proposed. And after another vote his plan was unanimously passed.

"For the troops: each Kingdom will send 3,000 Knights and 300,000 soldiers and each Duchy will send 1,000 Knights and 150,000 soldiers. Everyone in favor say aye." Said Emilia.

"Aye" Said everyone.

"Very well, in a month, we will attack Phoenix Kingdom, with a grand army of 16,000 Knights and 1,950,000 soldiers. Our army will engage the Phoenix army in a direct battle on the plains next to Maas Town. Meeting dismissed." Emilia dismissed the council and went to make preparations for the war.

Meanwhile in the Phoenix Kingdom, Roland's vacation had just ended and he was back inside his office. There was not much for him to do, except wait for his factories to produce more Bots and other war materials. That was until one of his Administratorbot came and gave him a report that one of his Basic Spy Satellites had spotted large troop movements in the surrounding countries. He found it very strange and started moving his army to his borders, to wait for the enemy to come and defeat them in one fell swoop. Roland thougth it was probably some countries that felt threatened and wanted to attack him. He knew that if he could defeat and take over those countries, he would be in charge of a fifth of the Barren Subcontinent and nothing could stop him then. Nothing that wasn't a Warlock that is.
