Turning Point.

"W-Who are y-you?"

An ugly fat pig of a man sitting naked examined the being in front of him.

"Rudeus-kun, didn't I say I am Hitogami, your friendly neighbourhood Human God!"

Yes!

The ugly bastard was none other than Rudeus before his reincarnation. He had no idea how he got here. He had just woken up from excruciating pain all over his body and discovered that he was in this location.

It was an endless stretch of white-coloured emptiness, and in this place he saw a being with a face that was blank white and had grey splotches all over it, along with a grin that eluded his memory.

The being's face gave off the feeling that it was covered in a mosaic.

"What do you want from me?" Rudeus questioned doubtfully.

"Me, nothing! What I want is for you to be successful in having a fulfilling life different from the one you had previously." Hitogami replied cheekily with a grin.

"So it was you who reincarnated me?" Rudeus asked.

"No, I don't have any idea why you were reincarnated, but I saw your memories when you arrived here." Hitogami said.

'After all, even I want to know who the hell reincarnated you, whom I can't see through. Is it Orsted, or is it the Playback Miko from the distant future or someone else?

And lastly, there is that guy, because of whom the timeline has become entirely distorted. I can't see anything now. So I need you to be my chess piece.'

Hitogami cursed whoever was messing with the timeline to such as extent and decided to step in, not only, to save his own life but also make sure that the space-time continuum of the Six-Faced World remained stable.

Indeed!

In the original novel, there was also a great deal of mystery surrounding the birth of Rudeus and the Teleportation Incident, but Arther already knew who was responsible and was working to solve them.

After all, another transmigrator was involved in this entire issue.

"So why am I here, and what is happening with my body?" Rudeus spoke, bringing Hitogami out of his thoughts.

"I don't have any idea, but I think it is because of [Laplace Factor] inside your body." Hitogmai said.

He seriously didn't know why Rudeus was here, as Arther covered the entire Buena Village with his Mana to keep Hitogami's eyes off of himself.

Meanwhile, Rudeus was shocked as he said, "You mean that Laplace, the Demon King, whose story mom told me? I thought that was not real!"

Although Rudeus had grown up hearing his mother tell tales of Laplace and his horrors, he never considered any of it to be real.

"Yes! All those stories are true." Hitogami nodded with a blank, white face.

"I see. So what happened?" Rudeus wanted to know more about why he was here.

"Your [Laplace Factor] may be awakening right now and causing your body to feel such pain." Hitogami stated what he actually felt.

'After all, in the original timeline, you died because your [Laplace Factor] awakened the moment you were born, causing you to die.'

Of course, he was unaware that Arther had consumed Rudeus's Mana Pool and was responsible for his excruciating pain rather than the [Laplace Factor] awakening in his body.

"Please tell me this is not a bad thing." Rudeus asked dreadfully.

To him the name [Laplace Factor] itself was bad news.

"Nah, don't worry. I can sense that your body is back to normal, but I would not recommend you use magic until you are 5 years old. Or else something bad may happen to you." Hitogami advised.

"What? Why can't I use magic before then?" Rudeus asked in shock. After all, he was quite excited to be able to learn more about magic and wanted to try it as soon as possible.

"Just listen to me; it will be really bad if you use magic before you are 5. Now bye!" Hitogami stated and ejected Rudeus's consciousness from the Void World.

When Rudeus opened his eyes, he was in Arther's arms. His expression was bewildered as he attempted to process the information he had just received.

Hitogami tried to look at Rudeus back in the Human World but was blocked by something unknown.

'No! It's a dense amount of Mana that's blocking my vision. Does that guy have such dense Mana that it eludes my vision?' He thought.

"Things are just becoming more and more…

Chaotic!"

-----

'Not so much that it changed the entire storyline and enough to tilt the possibilities in my favour.'

Arther gained another understanding of how Fate worked.

He came to realise that Fate always adapted to changes made around it as long as they were not extreme and beyond its scope of possibilities.

Arther destroying Rudeus's entire Mana Pool would have eliminated all options for the intended course that resulted in the events that led to Hitogami's death and Playback Miko's wish being granted, causing Fate to intervene directly.

As long as Arther introduced more variables leading to more possibilities, Fate would not give him a backlash and would instead adjust accordingly to cater to the new possibilities.

Coming back to the scene.

Arther instructed Laws about the time they were going to leave the village and told him to be ready.

After that, he and Elinalise left Laws's house.

They went to the forest near the village to clear up some monsters as a gesture of gratitude towards the villagers.

After a few minutes, Arther easily dispatched 70% of the hazardous monsters by using [Multiple Mana Bullets].

"My Lord, I think we should go to the central region and kill some A-rank monsters.

That should protect the village for a few years, as the leftover monsters will go into internal struggle for balance of power again."

Hmm.

"I guess you are right; let's do that." Arther replied, and he placed his hands on Elinalise's waist and teleported to the central region of the forest.

Yup!

He had mastered the renowned Teleportation Magic, enabling him to teleport to locations within his Mana's reach or to [Mana Nodes] he had set up, which were essentially coordinates he set with his own [Mana Signature].

He didn't use it much in public in fear of getting seen by the big shots, but those close to him like his mother, Ghislaine, and Elinalise, knew about it.

Zuup-!

Arther and Elinalise appeared in the central region of the forest, occupied by a horde of Terminate Boars headed by a Terminate Boar King.

"Lise, just delay the generals and don't kill them. After all, these boars have maintained the balance of power in the forest. I will just kill the king, and then we leave." Arther said as he summoned his sword.

"Alright, my lord." Elinalise replied as she charged towards the horde, attracting all the Terminate Board towards herself.

Roar-! Grrr…

The Terminate Boars charged towards Elinalise while Arther remained hidden.

Elinalise swiftly moved and cut down the weaker Terminate Boars using her estoc.

Shing! Slash! Slash!

SHUAAA-!

Her moves were elegant and peaceful, contrary to the chaos on the battlefield. She was literally dancing on the battlefield, as with every move of hers, a Terminate Boar died.

GRRRAAAAA!!!

The Terminate Boar Generals lost control of themselves when they witnessed the weaker boars dying so quickly and charged in her direction.

Elinalise smirked, seeing their reaction, and muttered, "Good! Now I just need to hold you all."

She had done her job of attracting the Boar Generals; now it was up to her lord to finish the job. Still, she wasn't worried about it.

Terminate Boar King was an A-rank monster, and both she and her lord were S-rank Adventurers. As long as they didn't fuck up and approached the fight with caution, they would be able to win easily.

Knowing her lord, she was aware that, despite his strength, Arther was a cautious fighter who didn't like to jump into fights mindlessly. He respected other strong individuals.

Additionally, Terminate Boar King was akin to a King-ranked practitioner, making it difficult to defeat if wrongly approached.

Back to the battlefield.

With composure, Arther watched as Elinalise drew the attention of the Boar Generals.

HAAFUUU-!

He vanished from his previous spot and ran straight towards the Boar King, who also noticed him.

Roaarrr-!

The Boar King screamed in anger and engaged with Arther.

Tang! Tang! Chrrr…

Arther met the Boar King's sharp claws with his sword and deflected them.

The Boar King simultaneously employed Earth Magic [Quake] and [Ground Rush], causing the ground to tremble and throwing Arther off balance as he sprinted in Arther's direction to stomp him under its fangs.

Arther used Air Magic [Float] before he fell to the ground from losing balance and executed a front flip to dodge the Boar King's rush.

Simultaneously, his sword, wrapped around in pinkish-purple flames, fell on the head of the Boar King, cleaving its head off and burning the rest of its body.

GRRAAAAA!!

The Boar Generals, realising that their King was dead, screamed in agony and rushed towards Arther, completely ignoring Elinalise.

But before they could reach him, Arther vanished!

They looked back to see Elinalise, but she was also not there.

Both Arther and Elinalise were gone right under their noses, leaving the frustrated and angered Terminate Boars.

ROAARRR-!

Not only that, but the corpse of their king was gone too.

-----

Outside the forest.

Huff! Huff! Huff!! Huff!!

"That was a good kill," Arther remarked as he calmed his breathing.

"Indeed, it was. It would make a good gift for the Grayrat family." Elinalise said with some thought.

After all, they didn't need the corpse; they had better materials, but it could be used by her lord to score some points in front of Zenith and Lilia.

"You are right, Lise." Arther spoke, understanding her thoughts.

"I am always right, my lord."

Raising both of her hands and putting them on Arther's shoulders, Elinalise spoke as she drew nearer to him.

"So, I need to be rewarded!"

"What do you want, my seductress?" Arther answered playfully.

In response, Elinalise slid her right hand inside his pants and placed it on his cock before saying seductively,

"This…"

Author's Note:

>> Guys, do you want the story from the OG lightnovel of JR to be shown here?

I am talking about the mystery regarding Rudeus's reincarnation, though it was not explored in detail not only in the anime but in the novel too.

The OG novel only explained bits and pieces of it as the author was setting up his next work, in which he was supposed to kill Hitogami, and that work has yet to come out.

So I will write something original for that plot. Comment.

>> Check out my other work. I am sure you will definitely like it very much.
