2 Speedy Wedding

There was only two weeks away from the wedding, so Tang Jinghao took a lot of time off of work to help arrange the event and to pick her wedding dress.

It wasn't very hard for her to take time off because her family was friends with the owner's family and the higher-ups of the hospital wouldn't dare to offend the Tang family. Also, the news of Tang Jinghao and Tian Liwei getting married was leaked to the public, so it would be an even worse time to go against either family because if you offend one, you would have to feel the wrath of both families.

...

There was a famous store that customized wedding dresses, or regular dresses for special occasions, and the fabrics and cloth were in very high quality. This made the dresses very expensive and beautiful. Usually, only the wealthy socialites and heiresses would afford to come and purchase a dress from this store. The designer was a friend of Jinghao, so her dress would be even more flawless and breathtaking than any other dress that was made in the store. Since every dress was customized, they were all one of a kind.

Tang Jinghao stood in front of the mirror as the designer, Yi Hua, took her measurements and thought about which designs would best suit her close friend. She was confident that she would create one of her best masterpieces for Tang Jinghao. Her good figure made it even easier for the designer because Yi Hua was very good at showing off the curves and best parts of a woman's body. She was planning of making Jinghao an off-the-shoulder white wedding dress for the wedding ceremony and a long and skinny rose gold cheongsam for after, since a big wedding dress would be too uncomfortable to walk in all day.

After drawing her designs in her sketchbook, she showed it to Tang Jinghao and she approved of it. It would take Yi Hua the whole day to make both dresses, so to avoid distracting her, Jinghao left and came back the next day to try on her dresses.

...

Meanwhile, the Tian family was busy preparing the big garden where the wedding would take place. Even if it was going to be a private wedding with close family, friends, and business partners, they needed to make the decorations as extravagant and beautiful as possible. After all, they would be taking wedding photos and showing them to the public after the wedding was over.

During the preparations, Tian Liwei did not have any significant job to do besides approve of the decorations. He just stood at the side as the families organized the ceremony. He already had his outfit prepared for the wedding, so he had nothing to do. He just went to his company and worked until the day before the wedding.

...

On the day of the wedding, there were many close friends and family attending. Tian Liwei was wearing a stylish suit with a flower pinned to his pocket. He looked outstanding as usual as he greeted his in-laws and his relatives that traveled from around the world.

Everyone there noticed that the whole Tian family, including relatives from abroad, all had amazing looks and they all were very polite. There was never a time when they would see a flaw coming from a Tian family member.

When the ceremony began, Tang Jinghao was seen holding her father's arm as she walked down the aisle. Her looks were stunning, and everyone thought that she looked like a goddess.

Tang Jinghao was wearing a white off-the-shoulder wedding dress. It was sparkling and it swayed elegantly as she walked to Tian Liwei. She was wearing the Tian family's diamond hair clip on her braided bun. She was told that the clip was passed down from generation to generation and now it was given from Tian Liwei's mother to Tang Jinghao. It always belonged to the Madam of the Tian family. Her mother-in-law told her that the ancient hair clip once belonged to the royal family in the Tang Dynasty. Surprisingly, the pin was still in one piece and did not break. The previous madams of the Tian family must've taken good care of it. Little did she know...that it had only belonged to one madam before her.

The married couple took wedding photos after saying their scripted vows and exchanging wedding rings. They posed in affectionate ways to convince others that their relationship was close. Surprisingly, they were both willing to do a fake kiss in front of everyone. However, once Tang Jinghao took her lips away from him, she wanted to kiss more, but she stopped herself and acted as if nothing happened when he pulled her in for another. Tang Jinghao was blushing and she didn't know why she wanted to do it again. Did she have feelings for him? 'No, that wasn't possible. We just met,' she thought. The women were jealous because they noticed Tian Liwei's caring and loving gaze on his wife. Her wedding ring was very eye-catching and it was beautiful in the pictures.

Many people would talk to Tang Jinghao about attending social events and arranging events for the wealthy women in their society.

For the first time in his life, Tian Liwei was amused by a woman. She was able to keep such a calm and gentle expression when the responsibilities as the new Madam Tian was thrown at her, even at her wedding. He was always cold, but polite, towards women, but when he was around Tang Jinghao he felt a sense of warmth and comfort when he was around this woman.

...

The after party had just begun in the tall building besides the garden and Tang Jinghao changed into a rose gold cheongsam. There was a slit at the side of the dress, and fortunately, it didn't show much skin. Real white pearls were spread around the dress. Tang Jinghao's cousin, Tang Lin, was the owner of a famous jewelry store called Lin's Grace and her cousin had given her a pre-wedding present, so she could wear it during the after party. Tang Jinghao wore the rare set of jewelries and they matched her dress. Her successful cousin was very thoughtful for giving her this present, but it was also benefitting her store, since Tang Jinghao had many wealthy friends and it was like she was promoting her products. Many socialites asked her where she had bought the glamorous necklace and bracelet from, and she would introduce them to her cousin.

A slow music went on and she felt a hand pat her shoulder, so she turned around. She saw Tian Liwei looking at her with a gentle gaze as he asked her, "May I ask for a dance, Madam Tian?"

"Of course, husband."

She took his hand and he led her to the middle of the room. As a woman raised by a wealthy family, she was taught how to dance for special occasions and her posture was always good.

Tang Jinghao put her hands on his shoulders and he responded by putting his hands on her waist. They swayed side by side and every few minutes, Tian Liwei would twirl her and continue to dance step by step. When she twirled, she would swiftly hold onto his shoulders again. Their every moves were elegant and graceful. Many onlookers were amazed by how in sync they were.

When the song was about to end, Tian Liwei twirled her for the last time, but he did it faster than usual, so Tang Jinghao was unable to keep her balance, especially with high heels on, so she spinned and almost fell to the hard floor. Tang Jinghao prepared herself for the fall, but when she opened her eyes again, she was in her husband's arms.

Their position looked very sweet and loving, so many people were envious. The couple looked at each other for a long time.

Tian Liwei looked at her seductively as he helped get back onto her feet and said, "Thank you for the dance, Mrs. Tian."

"It's my pleasure."

A waiter walked around with a tray of champagne glasses and there was a divider on the tray.

Tian Liwei was given a glass from the left side and Tang Jinghao was given a glass from the right side.

Before the waiter left, Tang Jinghao stopped him and asked him why the drinks were divided.

The waiter was interrupted by Tian Liwei as he said, "My family has a special medical problem, so we aren't able to tolerate beverages with a lot of alcohol. Only the Tian family members are getting these drinks."

She nodded in understanding, and asked, "What condition is it? I may know how to cure it, since I have many friends and coworkers at the hospital."

Without hesitation, Tian Liwei responded, "It's a special case and it is very rare. There are only a few people who know about it. I doubt that you will know considering the fact that many doctors from around the world were unable to cure it. It is nothing, though. Don't think much about it."

The couple clinked their glasses together and said, "Cheers," simultaneously. Liwei continued to drink from his glass until it was empty and another waiter went around to collect the empty glasses.
