14 CHAPTER THIRTEEN: The Lab Experiment

Dr. Frank escorted William into a big science laboratory. Frank made William wear a clinical mask over his face before he entered. The laboratory was buzzing with activity. Many workers moved about from one building into another, wearing long lab coat and a face mask.

“Right this way sir.” Frank led him into a room labeled, special project.

They came upon the second door and Frank slides a card through the door. The lock clicked. Then he raised a hand and pushed the door open. They entered into a smaller room.

The room was filled with dim light. There was a clinical bed sitting at the center of the room and on it lie a lady who was fast asleep. Two male doctors flanked her, examining her closely.

“I take it that this is Mrs. Eulich?” William whispered to Frank from behind.

“Yes.” he affirmed. “And as you can see, we are keeping her under closed medical observation.”
