9 Teddy

'how did she do?'

'she killed him sir'

' REALLY? that's great news!'

' however she's in the hospital sir, the snake grazed her leg'

' I expected her to get away from him, but to kill him,hmmm'

' sir?'

' don't put anything too dangerous in there with her anymore until she gets to the second floor.'

' yes sir.'

' I'm excited to see how much more she can surprise me.'

..... I wake up in the same place I was before, except the snake is now gone. There's another floor? Those stairs don't lead to the exit do they? I sighed then shivered. being in a hospital gown with no shoes or socks means im going to freeze my ass off. I get up and start walking away from the rooms, I might be injured but I'm not going stay in one place and be a siting duck. The stone hallway is just as dark and gloomy as it was before. I stop at one of the torches and admire it, the blue flame might not be good for lighting but it is so pretty to look at.

Suddenly I hear a snarl and a scream of pain and fear making me forget about the pretty blue flames. I limp as quickly as I can to the source, turning left then quickly right, right into a big secret room where I saw a big creature tearing into a man. the creature looked to be a cross between a wolf and a fox. the long thin face of a fox but the solid bulky body of a wolf. It's fur was jet black with red stripes.

"hey!" I yelled at it angry. wait what am I doing? I think suddenly I'm injured and without a weapon. I can't help him, he's probably already dead. ah well, I already said something might as well go through with it, probably don't have a choice anymore anyway.

The creature let the man go and turned it's beady green eyes to me. It's eyes held psychotic humour as it looked at me fresh blood dripping from it's mouth. I glared at it and tried to scare it away by waving my hands in the air and being as loud as possible. it just stared at me, unfortunately I think it's smart. Then it's mouth stretched into a painful, psychotic, and creepy looking smile which made me freeze in fear. oh God what did I get myself into! it started making its way toward me slowly and smugly like it thought I was paralyzed in fear and wasn't going to move. when it was close enough it lunged snarling I dodged to the left as it landed where I was standing. As it turned to look at me I leaped on it and pushed it to the ground it squeaked in surprise. Before it could recover I started slamming its head into the ground repeatedly. It tried to buck me off as it couldn't bite me because I had a hold of it's muzzle and ears as I slammed its head into the stone floor. After a couple minutes it stopped moving and blood was pouring out of its head. I got off it and just stared at it. looks like I cracked the nut I thought thinking of it's creepy smile. I then turned my attention to the man and crawled over to him, my leg stinging and aching. I was too late for him. The creature had gotten him in the neck and must have punctured a artery because blood was still pouring out of him like a waterfall. It looked like he was just coming home from work, he had a full suit on. I checked his pockets to see if I could find something to identify him with. I found a ID in his coat pocket, Teddy Foley. I'm sorry man, rest in peace, I got the creature for you. After staying silent for a bit I got back up got out of the room feeling bad that I didn't get there in time but knowing I couldn't have done anything else. I continued from the path I was on before feeling lonely and sad....
